Nick, I appreciate the full disclosure. Some channels just gloss over that and I think it important to be forthright.

I swapped the ones you see in the video for a pair two sizes smaller, which may have been a bit dramatic but I like them!

@@Stridewise My only concern with their pants is how they seem to be vanity sized. I need a legit 29 and I'm not sure the 28 is small enough.

I love the pictures and look of Taylor stitch but I’ve had a very mixed opinions about them. Yeah the fits are much more modern and I appreciate that as a man who also has a very v shaped body. I got their waxed long haul jacket and it’s fantastic, a great layer for the spring and fall and so far no issues. Where I’ve had issues is with their flannels. I got one of their flannels and I wore it 3 times with the sleeves cuffed and it ripped at the cuff. When I reached out to them, they told me to go get it fixed by a tailor and they would refund me the cost… but in store credit. That honestly left a sour note for me. In my opinion TS is a fantastic brand if you’re willing to gamble and have the money, I do think they are slightly over priced for being made in china and you can definitely tell they spend a lot of money on marketing and romanticizing heritage wear.

That's funny I said in the video that I kinda want a wool one and you already have one! Yeah the Ojai is a dope jacket. I really want a black one but none are available right now!

@@Stridewise I have the olive/cotton which is great, but get a lot more use out of the gray/wool. Both are size 40, but the wool's sleeves are almost 1" longer and lined which is a nice added touch as it makes putting on and taking off easier. Love the Ojai. Thanks Nick!

Just bought the dispatch jacket in indigo cord and slim selvedge jeans. Both are decent pieces for the sub $200 range. No complaints. Their alpaca wool beanies are the lightest, softest and warmest hats I own. Eyeing the Long Haul selvedge jacket. Would love to hear an in-depth review of it from you Nick.

@@Stridewise yeah they have a handful of pieces from other countries but the majority is made in China. The Ojai jacket used to be made in USA when it first came out, but the price point stayed the same when they moved to China. For their price points they also don't state the ethicality of their labor sources. Anyway, not trying to be a buzzkill

95% of TS is made in China now......I've got a few of their shirt on order this week and am looking for a higher quality shirt to start to update my aging wardrobe. I thought, wrongly, that they were a more crafted USA made product.

I stopped buying their stuff cause you can go up another tier without spending a whole lot more. Even made in USA stuff is just a little more in some cases. I bought a Yosemite shirts and it feels like cheap felt, looks terrible new and worse after I washed it 😂 sizing is weird too, you need super skinny arms to wear most their stuff. I wish I could get my money back from most of my stuff from them.
