This movie is worth it just for the long lingering looks at Phoebe Cates and her amazing talents

"Disc-aught". I couldn't figure that one out until you were literally pointing at the disc and saying that was a missed opportunity. Disc art, got it!

I didn't realise the term, "sounded that way", anyway, thanks for sharing. Stay Gold, Retro Man.

Never seen this movie but i am familiar with it being a knock to the blue lagoon. Phoebe Cates was a beautiful women.

Yes, Paradise was a partial "Blue Lagoon" knockoff. I have another upcoming episode that focuses on that idea. Stay Gold, Retro Man.

Tell me you're a _Blue Lagoon_ ripoff without telling me you're a _Blue Lagoon_ ripoff, haha. Phoebe Cates, uber 80s babe! Goddamn you Kevin Kline. Willie Aames never could quite make the jump from the small screen to the big screen. Back when being a TV star killed your movie career lol. Marketing definitely needed a poster with Phoebe Cates in a bikini - I mean, come on, it was the 80s! 😆 Meanwhile, I legit saw an ex-rental VHS copy of _Heavenly Bodies_ at my local video store, clam shell and all. Yes, we still have one or two around in Adelaide! Vicious Video, a little boutique store, has some great stuff...

Yes, the poster marketing on "Paradise" left a lot to be desired, Phoebe definitely deserved a better image! Thanks for the Adelaide VHS store tip! I checked out "Vicious Video" online and it looks like a cool little haunt. From the little I saw, the VHS tapes are extremely expensive (what rarities aren't) and he even has an original "RAD" VHS for about $600. I would be curious to know how much, "Heavenly Bodies" was priced at? I had a VHS copy of HB years ago, but ended up parting with it. It's nice to know that there are still a few of these places around. If I'm ever visiting Adelaide, I will be sure to check it out. Stay Gold, Retro Man.
