It’s not not stupid, and people have preferences. The Mac Mini is a very cheap but good computer for its price.

I see you haven't tried a Mac past the M1 generation. I'm a Windows guy, and I think Macs are pretty good. Insanely fast and high quality experience. Windows nowadays is so filled with ads and bloat that I want to switch to Mac or Linux.
