Unboxing and Bashing the TRAXXAS JATO 4X4 BL-2S!!!

In today's video I went out and purchased the New Traxxas Jato 4X4 Brushless rc buggy!! I did an unboxing and review on this sweet buggy!! This thing performed very well on-road and off-road!! I think this would be a perfect car for someone who is just getting into the hobby!! $349.99 is a perfect price for this car, in my own opinion, I will say I wish it was a little bit faster!! I have one I installed a tekno center driveshaft Installed aluminum chasis brace Installed aluminum 17mm hex’s And put a 3s system Put a good transmitter and receiver Now I like it But I spent like 250 extra for the price Wait for the 4s version

That motor will never snap that center drive shaft. It is like every other traxxas, kid friendly, then grown up build and make cool.

The front shocks, camber links, shock tower broke on mine within 24 hours of owning it. They can't take to much of a beating at all with all the stock plastic parts unfortunately. I hit one single pole and all that broke off 🎉

waiting for the vxl version so I can get myself into entry level buggy racing... I know it's not the perfect choice but I want parts support and plenty of compatibility while not spending a billion on electronics.

Looks like a pretty well built buggy, the price seems a little steep but that goes with everything lately. I do like the way the shock system was designed to protect the body, and was a little surprised how well it held up.

Devils advocate, This is a good One regardless of the Haters, However A $100.00 buggies is easier To Get into the Hobby. Low End hobby Grade. To get it past wife, or weither to pay ur lite bill or get a Big Dollar car.. Throw a few of those $100.00 car reviews to ur Listeners, to balance ur Audience.

We love ours! We sre currently building a 4/6s capable one as we speak amd just finished a 3s setup in another. With that being said, we love it as a 2s. ❤

Too everyone here is a question. 12 year old daughter will be the owner. She has been driving a brushed slash. Only complaint is rolls over consistently. Would you buy this, typhon, or syncro4. Please keep in mind. Looking for grass driving, less rollover, and I already have 8 Traxxas batteries. I am open to other brands if they are vastly superior in the handling department. Thank you all. I am hoping to hear back soon. Looking to order this week.b

@Everything__RC Thank you for the quick response. My only concern with this is ground clearance. Will it be able to drive well on a grass ball park? I live in SC so the grass is not very thick. I would be buying it for her so she can race my Traxxas slash, 2wd, brushed, old mess. Trying to make sure she has the edge in handling on all terrains.

Ehh I’d disagree, parts support, customization, potential performance and everything else is better with a jato. I built my slash ultimate to be one of these and I also own a TLR typhon and both are great, my slash ultimate is running a Mamba monster 6s and it is really great for speed and it regularly cooks my typhon in acceleration. It’s a good platform, but it could be cheaper.

@Michael-tm6vs part support depends on were you live. In the Netherlands everyting is on stock. You cant compare a modivied car whit a non modivied as well. Put that Mamba in your TLR and its just as fast. But your comparing 6s car and you should compare 3s cars. Thats were the Arrma is much better

@@FrankvdBerg my tlr typhon is running a Poseidon 2900kv motor with a wp8bl hobbywing esc, it’s comparable, but my whole thing is that traxxas makes a better 3s platform than arrma. What I mean by parts support is upgrades on top of box stock parts.
