I just bought two TWSBI Eco..., The Diamond 580 Iris was too expensive..., I have both in stub and medium version for the price of Irsis 580... Yes I am stingy, I want own as many as possible and at the lowest possible price. I tend to use a three finger grip and my thumb tends to find its way to rest on the barrel of the pen. On the Eco it is very comfy but it is smooth and cylindrical. Not sure if the Diamond ridges would bother me? (Slowly working on the “correct” pen hold. )

Yes, I’m really impressed that there’s a piston filler at the eco and 580 price point with all the different colors, and it wrote beautifully out of the box without any tuning. I’m a twsbi fan now!

I've been heavily researching this pen. The Iris is the only Twizbi that you can't switch the nib.

Hi Teresa I actually bought the Medium nib unit to swap onto this one occasionally. It works well but I do miss the rainbow shine that came with my EF. You can technically switch the nib but you won't get the beautiful iris color on the spare nibs as Twsbi doesn't sell that by itself.

@@FrenchyInFocus I would ultimately still recommend the custom 823 if you’re looking for a workhorse pen. There is something perfect about how balanced it is in your hand, and how it writes perfectly every time without disappointment. But twsbi would be a great “fun inks” pen :)
