Living in the northeast US, dew is a real problem! I love my ECCO. Probably important to mention that the ECCO doesn't actually provide power to the dew heaters. It provides control into the Eagle and the Eagle's power supply put's out the necessary current to warm the tube/lens. It could be quite a challenge for a single USB-C power source to power the ECCO and provide enough energy to warm 2 RASAs ;-) I have the ESATTO focuser for my Edge11 also. THAT is a nice looking piece of hardware! My only complaint is the weird adapter needed to connect it to the scope side. But the microsized steps and repeatability are very impressive!

I could only imagine what kind of dew conditions you would get there, I’m excited to have added the Ecco to my setup. You are absolutely correct that the Ecco only monitors and assists the Eagle in powering the dew heater strips. Haha the joys of running twins and the power consumption it sucks from my batter pack lol. I would like to look at adding the focuser to the system however for the rasa you need a feather touch and then the focuser will attach to that. Way too much to spend I think when the system is running well as it is. Thanks for the feedback and support 😊

Hey Steve. Are there any drivers to install? Do you control the the ECCO with NINA

So the Ecco is under the environmental controller ascom driver. NINA doesn’t control the ECCO so it can be a bit pointless. I hardly use my ECCO these days, it just stays mounted.

@@StevenMorrisPhotography are you still running Windows 10? I was wondering if I should upgrade
@StevenMorrisPhotography Жыл бұрын
I run the standard windows 10 enterprise that comes with the eagle 4. I haven’t updated it.
