Hi love your videos I had a question I was hoping you could answer I'm getting my first snake soon I have a 20 gal tank I'm just curious size wise which would work better in a 20 gal a ball python or a kingsnake? Originally wanted a leopard gecko but I can't handle bugs, also which do you find is more friendly? I have a dog as well but I don't imagine ruckus going anywhere near a snake she's a pinscherxpit mix and very relaxed.

the spaghnum moss is indeed good quality... if you moist it enough and put it in a closed enviroment in the sun it starts growing again!

The thing I worry about with these super cheap supplies is, what's it made of? Are the leaves free of harmful pesticides, etc? What is the coating on those vines? Are the fake leaves going to fall apart under UV? Are the electronic devices going to burn out or break shortly after? Stuff like that.

Those are all super valid concerns and I am absolutely with you on that! This is just one of many different options to obtain reptile supplies and Temu is very common so I wanted to check out what they actually have to offer. I will say if you are concerned then spending more on higher quality products is the way to go! I think for basic decor type items like these, I was honestly satisfied for the price. But for important things like UVB and heat, etc I would look elsewhere and go with the highest quality well known brands.

Hey any updates on the artificial plants? Did any of them have uv resistant?

Not sure about the UV resistance but they are all holding up perfectly fine so far!

@@sparklesanddaisies6832also valid concerns but then if we are considering this, then we also probably need to stay away from anything and everything made in china etc, but good luck doing that! 99% of what you buy at an expo, pet shop, Amazon or chain store will be produced the same way. It’s unfortunately almost unavoidable. And there are many pet keepers that can’t afford inflated prices. It’s a tough one for sure!

I would be very interested in checking them out but I think when it comes to important things like UVB I would stick with highest quality like Arcadia or ReptiSun. I would absolutely be open to test these products in the futures though using a solar meter.

@@newlightpets yeah, that exactly what I need, check them with a solarmeter. I live in Brazil, we don’t have high quality UVB lamps over here, only these from Nomoy. And, couldn’t find any review on internet Thanks
