Thank you for the demonstration, which I found useful because my cream copy is due to be delivered very soon. I shared your anxiety over the slashed box, but was relieved everything was OK. I think changing down from setting 6 messed up the first slice of bread, but of course the second was fine. It looks truly beautiful and you have a lovely, tidy home.

Toast the bread on 1,5, or 2. Thats enough. Its a powerful machine

congrat !!!! oh by the way before first time using the new toaster do toast without the bread to packaging dustout and then do normal toasting, I purchased the Smeg drip coffee maker and I absolutely (it's a 50's retro style) lovin it, and also have Smeg milk frother , my next purchase will be toaster, lol, though also have retro 50's style DeLonghi toaster which comes with dustcover lid and electric kittle, again it's a beautiful set , DeLonghi set will put in my office . lol.

You started to heat up the toaster to 6!-! Then you immediately inserted a 1 piece of toast in the pre-heated toaster and incredible enough-it got burned on 2-+ the preheat to 6? That was amazing?!
