Unboxing Borg Warner EFR9280 Turbocharger

Borg Warner needs to have a stair-stop of turbos in the EFR range from 1000hp up to 4000hp. BW is the unspoken advantage I am noticing people are starting to discover.

Probably very well if you did a single or twins

@@BuyYourBuild Just looking at the compressor maps, it would make for a very responsive single on the 6.2L. Assuming I'm reading the map correctly.

@@Dodgevair I agree, the LS motors are pretty high compression and it would spool this turbo easily. It’s pretty close in size to a precision 74mm.

Is the rear end the same dimensions as one for a 9180, just wondering if is a bolt in affair if upgrading from 9180

No, its closer to 35-40 lbs. Anyway, I have the 9180 on a 3 rotor rx7 and can't hook it at 22 psi.

Suggestion: don't do videos from that angle without wearing pants. Learned this from a young lady while I was wearing even longer short pants.
