I don't combine plants because I try to compete my orchids at Orchid Shows in my area which have AOS judging. It is 'illegal' to have multiple plants in a single pot for AOS judging. If you were closer, I would share my duplicates with you.

Very nice orchids from Carmela's Their orchids are always so beautiful and healthy. I am afraid that I need to get a larger grow space before I get a box of my own. Sorry to add a negative note, but although you have beautiful cats, I find them pretty distracting when they are sitting in front of the orchids and I am always fearful that they will damage your new orchids. The rocking foot stool balancing act was less than relaxing also. Once again I am sorry, but I can not imagine I am the only one yelling at my computer screen to have you put your cats in a different room.

I'm glad you posted this because I want to try growing a few cattleyas and this would be an inexpensive way to get my feet wet. I don't think I'd go with the big box special...24 is a bit too many for me! Have you had good luck with Carmela's Orchids? Are they all pretty healthy? :)

I order Cattleyas from Carmela’s about once a year and they have always been healthy and have done well when I remember to water them.

Actually, it is still offered. The link to the special has never worked. I just added it to my cart directly from the specials page, which only works on a desktop as the mobile site doesn't allow it. I wrote them and asked. ;)

What...are you dealing orchs on the side now? 🤔😜. New box and lots of paper rustling was a cat magnet.
