I have this gun for 3 years now, it really is unbreakable. I recently re-sprayed it so it looks more Adidas-ish. Really wonderful. I chrono-ed it, shoots 480-500fps mysteriously.

Good video mate, you can never go wrong with a cyma there internals will last a long time if you don’t mess with them, though personally I would go with a cm028 as that has just a few more metal parts for not much more

I absolutely love this replica. I have 2 of them, one is 4 years old, the other one I bought this summer. both work lile brand new, even though the older one has been through 4 years of heavy use. the thing I like about it, especially compared to the CM.028, is that it is much, much lighter due to having more plastic parts, and I can easily run around with it all day long. it is a great bamg for your buck ☺️

Hello im new to the airsoft...i have that replica for 3 months now and i can assure you that it can compete with more expensive replicas...grouping and accuracy is great the only downside for me is the rate of fire and the trigger response if you try to single shot fast (e.x trying to shoot running target) but you can fix that with an internal upgrade...first step im going to upgrade the external parts of the gun to give it more tactical look and mount some optics and grip on it (pistol grip,handguard with rails,metal receiver and metal dust cover with rails as well) i didnt want to buy another replica bacause i wanna challenge my self on moding and learn more..your review helped me a lot greeting from Greece mate

I would stay away from cheap sidefolding AK’s (AKS74 style) as the stock hinge, being very thin and made of pot metal, often breaks. I have seen several people online who had this happen, even a shop and a friend of mine too. Even if they are also made with pot metal, fixed stock trunnions have a lot more material, so they are harder to break. So if you really want a sidefolding AK it’s better to get an actual full steel one, E&L can even be found for the same price as cyma ones in some websites

Thanks for the comment, the price is most of the difference, and the cm.028 seems to have a slightly better quality gearset and that' about it. The colours seem to be different too for some reason, I would expect that the plastic in the CM.522 isn't as robust as the Cm.028. In all honesty, the main difference anyone would actually notice, is the colour of the receiver. Hope that helps.

Hiya. In theory yes.. in practicality... Not always. Kwa recoil ak takes slightly different mags (you can mod normal mags to fit with a Dremel, but then it can be hit and miss with mags fitting into stuff. Generally speaking stick to the same brand as the gun, but ask around for specifics that people have used. I did use JG and TM high caps in this and they both fit and fed lovely. Hope that helps. Pheas Airsoft I find that Cyma are a solid beginners platform when it comes to AK’s and with very little money spent on a few mods here and there, they can be on par with some of premium brands. My CM.077 is probably more responsive now than my LCT AK after a few additions! And price difference was around £300.

You ask as many questions as you need. If you put a mosfet in, it will cost you money for it, but could also, depending on the install type and the mosfet type, massively increase the rate of fire, which could put a lot of stress on the gearbox which could wear it out much quicker. If you want to save money then leave the mosfet and just use the battery, it will take some time to wear out the contacts. It all depends on what the rate of fire is like and if you have the money to spend. Personally I would go for the mosfet, but get one I could program and maybe turn down the rate of fire so it doesn't put too much stress on the gearbox, or get a 7.4v lipo to run with it. Could just use heavier BBS with mine, should lower the fps but increase wind resistance if your playing outdoors. I would recommend useing 0.25g BBS with this rifle to make the fps uk skirmish friendly

Hiya, heavier bbs will certainly bring down the fps, but sites like to know the fps on a 0.2g bb, or ask you for the weight to work out the joules of energy. Even with the heavier weight it would put you over the uk energy limits and be unable to be used. Although I fully endorse the 0.25g bb, its was I used in everything except my TM g18c aep (0.2g in that) and find that they just shoot better! Pheas

Hello! Personally I prefer lipos as you get more capacity in less space meaning you are likely to need less batteries. I also tend to find that they power the guns better for longer, so a nihm as the battery is wearing down you can see the slow down (rof of fire) where as lipos seem to go and then just die at the end with no real slow down. Lipos do need a little more care (balance charge at 1amp ) but i feel they are much better than nihms. But everyone is different and prefers different things. Pheas

For the price it's a bargain, and opens up a few options to you, it can be kept as it is as an aeg with full auto for when you need it, or you can work on it a little bit and convert it into a DMR aeg and lock it to single shot and a tight bore barrel and use it as a semi sniper rifle. That said the dragunov is a great choice and it's a great piece of kit. I would think about your personal style of play and pick what suits you best. I don't really have the patience to sit still for long so sniping isn't my thing, so an aeg with full auto suits my style of running in and dying quick.

Somd of the plastic (particularly the stock) may not take the abuse of higher cost ones, but if you are looking for a cheap starter / cheap back up / or just something to mess about with then you can't go wrong with it. Hiya it sounds like: "DAKA DAKA DAKA" Ha ha ha only messing. It probably will need a little shimming for smoother running (and maybe a little bit of motor adjustment) but its a nice piece of kit and the sound is in line with other Airsoft AKs, the plastic of the body dampens it a tiny bit. I dont have this anymore, but I do have the cyma cm.028 which is very similar, happy to do a quick vid of how it sounds tonight when Im home from work to give you an idea of how it sounds. Pheas

Hiya. It will be the same sling so it will be fine to put on a shoulder whilst walking about but not to tactically sling it, plus the metal of the clips is poor so I wouldn't expect it to last very long before the clips break and it's useless to you. Pheas

Pheas Airsoft i don’t really know, one it’s spread it crazy, on full auto it can’t hit a moving target 3 meters away from me, that was before it broke, I think the hop up broke because now when I shoot it on any hop up the bbs immediately fall after a meter

@@joelprovine7543 Mate, that's an issue with the Hop bucking not being placed properly, I've seen a few CM521/521c from Cyma (I believe it's the same gearbox and hop chamber) with the same issue. The gun isn't broken just a few screws and half an hour of fiddling away from being perfect.

Hiya, that's very odd. I am sure you have tried it, but have you cleaned the barrel? What kind of bbs are you using? The other two things I can think of that could cause this would be either a damaged air nozzle or maybe a torn / damaged hop bucking. Good luck with sorting it! Pheas
