Interesting sounding pickup…sounds much more acoustic sounding than typical magnetic pickup…pleasing not to hear piezo quack. Love your playing too!

Your “beauty of limitation” philosophy makes me think of that Bruce Lee quote where he said “I don’t fear the man who’s practiced 10,000 kicks. I fear the man who’s practiced 1 kick 10,000 times.”. I think there’s a lot of wisdom in that for music too. Love your videos Tomo!

Thank you! I love Bruce Lee! I am from Japan originally so I have a little Eastern cultured thinking.... Thank you so much! For example, practicing chromatic scale. I only limit to practice on 4th & 3rd strings and less than 10 minutes a day.

I do ❤️ my LAG 30. I haven't played an electric on almost 2 years. I do have a GTRS S800. But the LAG still has so much adventure to seek and she does have a wonderful voice.

I ordered a vibrakill shock absorber for a tennis racquet to get this kind of sound. I wonder if I can move it around to soften the effect on the treble strings a little.

@@carlito7863 it does seem a little flat? In all the demos. I had a 1969 Fender by Harmony (Stella parlour) guitar converted to rubber bridge and it definitely has more depth to it. Maybe it’s the finish? Or back and sides that aren’t solid wood on this one? It doesn’t sound terrible but it sounds muted like the body woods are dull instead of the saddle/bridge? Am I overthinking this? 🤣

It doesn't sound like it has a lot of resonance, like the string action is too low. I've seen videos of Orangewood guitars and they seem to sound very resonant. I have a Martin parlor sized guitar and it resonates a lot more than that guitar. Or is that because of the rubber bridge?

A great way to practice rake picking… or maybe cheat some pinch harmonics 🤣🤯 I actually do like the sound, but the price tag is a bit much for what would essentially be a “toy” in my deck. Love your videos bro!
