Hi! Couple of things: 1. Sorry the volume is all over the place, I used two different microphones, and one was... not good. 😅 So I had to turn the volume up to even be able to decipher what I was saying. BUT I wanted to keep the genuine, live reactions in there... so ... sorry 😬 2. This video is long, so make sure to pay attention to the cards if you want to skip around. The first half is basically setting up the isopods, while the second half is unboxing/close ups. That's all. Make sure to check out the description for links and all that jazz. Have a good week! 😁

Wally at Supreme Gecko is wonderful. He did a fantastic job packing those isopods. You made a great selection of isopods. Just like your videos; I learned a lot from his videos. I'm excited just watching you. Please do a springtails video and one on a conversion kit video cause I want to know where you attach the light. ♥️♥️Supreme Gecko & Elle's Reptiles♥️♥️

Yea they did! If I ever order any more, I'll definitely be ordering from them again. I'm so happy with them, and they all look so healthy! 🥰 Those clips are from a video I did on the conversion kit called "Gargoyle Gecko Bioactive Setup" where I go in detail on the whole thing. 😊

They are so cute and pretty colors. You can feed snake shed to them but they won't eat the belly scales so I just pull the belly scales off before I put the sheds in. Have fun with your new cuties. I have Purple Dwarf speices that I am raising. So small and cute. GOD BLESS and have a great Sunday.

Your excitement is so genuine and contagious! Great clips of the isopods. I do the SAME THING! Talk about less ventilation on the dry side in a video.... then put the sphagnum moss on that side. Douhhh ! (Porcellio laevis ORANG... ? someone can't spell. I see you can though on the video :) ) Thank you SO much for doing this and for the many shout outs and links. You are TOOOO kind Elle.

@@ellesreptiles I’ve been good and they animals are doing good. Just been very busy with senior year of school, animals, KZbin rebuilding, podcast scripting, custom enclosure building plans, and so much more. I’ve also had a second knee surgery on the same knee due to it dislocating again and this time fracturing a small piece of bone as well as torn cartilage. Other than that I’ve been good.

Great Video. Could I put isopods in my leopard gecko tank?They are on Eco Earth.
@ellesreptiles3 жыл бұрын
They're going to do best in bioactive setups, so more nutrient rich substrates like bioactive substrates or top soil that has moss in it. They also need lots of leaf litter and driftwood (their main sources of food/where they will hide). 😊

Hi elle my it's the end of summer where I live and I have a 5 month bearded dragon and he eats his bugs in the morning and sleeps and hides the rest of the day. His temps are correct and the lighting is too and he has lot of enrichment Any advice?
@ellesreptiles3 жыл бұрын
And you are measuring his temps with a temp gun right? Is he eating his salads at all? If not, I would feed those first, before the bugs. Does he have a cool side to go to, other than his hiding spot? I'm assuming he's gaining weight/growing correctly right? Does he have stress lines?
