Unboxing, Gloomhaven: The Crimson Scales

Totally pumped that you guys will be playing Crimson Scales, my group absolutely loved some of the classes, and have even integrated them into our Frosthaven campaign. By the way, the mysterious 3rd book is for the add-on, which included 3 extra classes (beetle, bleeding claw and tools) and some extra scenarios.

Ahhh thanks for the heads up. We're super pumped to start unboxing, but we're also not trying to move FH to the side as we're close to finishing it and still have content to pump out.

ah gratz on getting crimson scales.Did you also get the trail of ashes expansion? I love the crimson scales characters and there are also some unique monsters with clever mechanics. I love the idea behind the water spirits We have unlocked most of the classes with our group If you do have the trail of ashes expansion. I'd recommand to do the trail of ashes missions sooner then later.

We didn't get trail of ashes. I've searched but its just too hard or too expensive to get, which is a shame but our fault for only now wanting to get into it.

@@amdirt I am pretty sure you can get the files to print the stuff out if you really want to play it. And you can get it on tabletop simulator.

Yeah I knew it was on TTS and the plan was to play it over TTS but the group wants to keep doing in person sessions so we needed a physical copy. What I haven't looked into though are getting things printed for the expansion. I know the files exist I've seen them but I haven't ever thought about actually getting them printed. You've given me something to think about, ty

@@amdirt I think printing the expansion material is a very nice idea considering it's an expansion of an expansion and I don't expect to introduce many new things!

Yeah I have been looking into print options in Australia. There are a few, just need to get an idea of how much it'll cost me, but I am heavily considering it.
