Do you find that the syncbox can accurately represent orange? I just had the T3 Lite refunded because, whenever you have an orange screen, the LEDs turn red. White balance unfortunately does not fix that. 😢

To be honest my tv is already mounted and it was very tough! So most likely won’t take it down from the mount And thank you so much!!!! LG C1 is worth it in every way by the way. Can’t go wrong

Is the LED turned off when there is a black area? This is my main issue, and I hope here it's different...

I have 2 sources, 1 for games, one for movies. Each have diff picture settings. Hows the tv going to change picture settings when only using 1 hdmi port? Please answer

@@MrDogtown22 from what I understand the tv settings should still change. For instance game mode and movie mode on the tv. If it doesn’t change automatically, then you change it with the tv remote like you already do. My Xbox still recognized hdr and turn on automatically even when plugged into sync box.

@coppercarver can you try this to confirm? I don't have to change it with the remote as the tv detects the source input and changes picture settings accordingly. It would be a massive help!

I have the Govee T2 lights with camera on my Samsung 82" TV. I LOVE it. But I'm REALLY interested in this, but worried about several things. Like, I have everything like my PS5, 4K Blu-ray player, and Dish Network box all plugged into a Yamaha receiver for my surround sound. Will this thing work with a receiver ? If so... Does it explain how to connect it all ? Thanks for the video.. I'm now a follower. Been looking for someone who has an obsession with Govee lights like me 😂

@@jaygreer195 great question and thanks for the follow! To be honest, I would be too nervous about that as well! 😅 because that’s a very precious setup that you wouldn’t want to risk messing up. My opinion, because I have the T2 in my living room as well, the T2 is good enough for everything. The only thing you’d miss out on is the gaming aspect. And as cool as it is. I won’t use it that much because lighting and gaming can be distracting to me 🤷🏼‍♂️ You could see if you could connect just the ps5 to it? I have a Bose sound bar and with the Xbox and everything connected to the sync box the sound bar still works, however the soundbar is plugged in via receiver cord not hdmi

It could work with it but you would no longer switch inputs on your reciver, you would have to use one imnput and plug everything into your govee box.

My govee sync box 2 shows white or green even on black scenes. It doesn't replicate dark scenes or turns off the LED lights. Any suggestion ?

@@10403mike great question! Change the Sensitivity! There’s a sliding bar that said sensitivity and adjusting that fixed it for me!

@ to be honest I didn’t have a number. And I don’t remember off the top of my head. I literally just had on the device and changed the sensitivity while watching it and left it alone once the black screen matched! And of course! Always want to help :)

Thank you . also i'm probably going to buy it as well , but my problem is that my monitor has has HDMI 2.0 and it's a 1920 * 1080 240 HZ , will that be an issue ? i know that i will be limited on the resolution , but i just want to know if everything will work fine (probably going to change monitor next year ) thanks for all the help and nice video !

Great question! From what I understand you’ll still have the faster HZ!! And should still work! Since I’m utilizing my Xbox gaming I can most likely try valorant in a short video! I believe within a week I’ll make a short video showing off as many of the games as I can!! Great idea!! Thank you for the great comment and liking the video!

@@coppercarver tyty hehehe , i already watched a lot of your video and bought some stuff , also my idea was to ask govee if they could swap the light bars with the evangelion version one since they are the same and come with the same price XD , also because on the site you can't get the SYNC BOX 2 for 27-34 without the light bars , do you maybe have info on that ?

@@d13g0m0nt3s great question. To be honest I imagine really close to the wall to up to 1foot would be fine. I have a tv in my living room with the T2 and I still see the lights really well if I pull it out a bit

I have a ceiling mounted projector feeding to a receiver in a media closet. I have a movie room filled with dream view enabled Govee lights of various types. I would like to just get the sync box and connect it to my receiver/projector. Is that possible and then have it control all of my lights. Is that type of setup possible?

@@duaneclark7108 great question! To be honest I never thought about a projector?????? I mean it’s hdmi as well………so I’m leaning towards yes to be honest. Normally whenever you work on dream view it has the tv in the middle and you place your profits adjacent to the tv. I guess you could still do this. But it’s not a tv, it’s simply a projector screen or placement of the shot. The question is, do you connect the sync box to the projector directly? I would think so. But then that would mean you need a really long hdmi to go to the media closest (from the projector itself) with the sync box so you can connect other products to it.

@@coppercarver the projector already has an hdmi going through the ceiling and down to the media closet and connected to the receiver as it is. Unless each light has to connect directly to the sync box, I think it may work. They don’t do they?

Maybe the 55inch one would work better than this size……but even then…….I want to say I’ve seen videos online of people make the light bar behind the tv work. The sync box would work. And dream view. But maybe not the least lights attached to the back became of the size

@@coppercarver i guess a better question would actually be will it support 200+ fps at 2k? I plan on doing a 5090 build. Would really like the monitor effects but definitely not worth sacrificing fps for it

Windows 11 doesnt support HDR when u duplicate your screen. Biggest disappointment for me. Was so happy that i got the lights today and then this sh..

They come for 55”-65” tv as well as 75”-85”. The light bar kit seems to only be for 27”-34” gaming setups.

In order to use Sonos arc/beam and retain Atmos I would just leave that plugged in directly to the 2.1 eArc in the tv. I ordered mine from Amazon so I’ll experiment using with my Sonos Arc. I don’t do gaming on my tv as I have a dedicated gaming car simulator. There is something to note the Govee AI sync box 2 does not work with native smart tv apps. I could be wrong but that’s what I have heard. I’ll be using it with an Apple 4k TV.
