Have they updated the face/subject tracking on the 907X50C? I know you have that one also as I have been a long time subscriber and appreciate your channel.

I haven’t checked the firmware update for the 50c. It totally could. TBH the face tracking is something I don’t like using. It tends to over complicate the shooting experience and ends up missing sharp focus on the subjects eyes.

Definitely not that particular camera's first review rodeo. Looks a little beat up and the screen cover put back on to look like new but scratched and dusty.

Does this camera have a live view histogram? I fiddled with the X1D II a couple years ago and the only way I could check the exposure to see if it was clipping was to snap a shot and review it in playback where I could then pull up a histogram. It just seemed kind of weird to me and I’m curious if they’ve changed things.

I have often thought that. I would love to have a huge histogram. Transparent gray. At the bottom of my image. On the back LCD or through the viewfinder. During live view while taking the photo.

Since it is so close to the X2D I would assume so, yes. There is a section in the menu for custom overlays which also includes a live histogram. For some reason it does not show up in manual mode though.
