I dont bought any monitor but a college of me did, and he says that the ants get i to the battery and short circuit the monitor. He also said that when standing in water he got shocked through the remote. He had also wet feet he said.

@@GallagherAnimalManagement thank you for your reaction. Im not sure or I wrote about the decime that is on the old faultfinder. But to cleanup fences it is really handy to have that. Now we carry both faultfinders to do that. Further I want to request to make a point to connect to your belt. They are pricy and loosing them is painful. The location of the battery is a lot better. But the closing of the battery, I wonder or its rainproof remember here in costa rica are downpoors from 100mm not uncommen. So when carrying it in your pants it will get wet. I also see a difference between the 2 faultfinders from 2 amps. Further the totale of the different lines dont match up with the totale on the main screen. I am also looking on information on the resistance in the lines. Now I am using all galvanised wire, I wonder how much is the difference when you use aluminum wire. Other question is I see now that when its raining that the totale resistance runs up from 35 amps to 42 amps. Do you guys have any idea what that is? Not gras or weeds we keep them clean. I'm having trouble getting information about Gallagher Electric fences in Indonesia

I farm buffalo in costa rica and bought recently the mbs 1800i. With the remote v2. The machine works fine, the remote for turning the fence of and on is also great. But the totale of the remote doesnt match up with the machine. Also their is a variation of 2amps between the new remote and the old fault finder. The total of the old faultfinder does match up with the machine. The new remote/faultfinder only works in whole amps not in decimals. So you need to carry the old faultfinder if you cleaning up your fence. Also its a pity you didnt put a hook or something to hook it to your belt, because they are easy to loose and expensive. And last but not least the little bag that comes with the remote is a joke the remote doesnt even fit in there, and is absolutly useless.
