For anyone looking. This thing is a GOD SEND for anything to do with controllers and Windows 10. Windows 10 will recognize your controller but they don't provide the drivers and the only way usually is to use official microsoft brand controllers or some crappy third party program. This mayflash adapter is worth its weight in gold easily if you like to use controllers on PC or add them if you have them lying around for other consoles.

Answering questions that have been asked hundreds of times here: 1. NO, It DOES NOT work on the PS3, PS4, 360, XBone, it's designed for PC, Switch and the Neo Geo Mini. 2. If you can't use your controller, you have to press the little button on it to correspond with the controller type you're using. 3. NO, you can't check your battery life, it reads controllers as USB. If your controller dies, it means it's dead, so charge it. 4. YES, it works on all versions of the switch. 5. YES, you can use USB, as there's a USB port on the back of this device. 6. YES, motion controls works on controllers that have it, wireless for wireless pads works. 7. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE SITE (www.mayflash.com) if you did that, you wouldn't need to wait a year for a response to your questions if you just stopped being lazy and read the instructions from the website. If you can't read or follow instructions for slight modifications of your systems, then maybe you shouldn't be using these type of devices.

I can confirm that it actually works with the ps3 pretty well, i was playing with my joycons in my ps3

with firmware 1.28 or above (latest 1.32), it supports Sega Genesis/MD mini & Sega Astro City mini. After updated firmware to v1.28 or higher, user must switch the mode to "white light" while connecting to a PC, MAC, or LINUX computer. Then, you can connect your "white light" Magic NS to Sega Astro City. Now you can use XBOX One controller(wired), PS4 controller(wired), and Nintendo Switch Pro controller(wireless) on your Sega Astro City mini.

If I have the official Microsoft Xbox 360 adapter and I want to plug that into the magic-ns adapter to use on the switch will that work? Edit: I just made the setup above on my pc and it works. I get that the ns adapter is not nesecerry in that setup, it just proves that it transmits the data from the 360 wireless adapter.

FYI: the WiiU Pro doesnt use USB for data. Thats why it stayed connected, you pressed Sync for a wireless connection

It's a great product but it does have 1 major flaw. I want to use it with my 360 controller! I suppose this might not be the fault of the device rather the protocol the 360 controller uses.

Pretty late, but I've been able to use a 360 controller. Do some of the wired 360 have different outputs? Make sure you use the USB one I guess.

You need to use a wired 360 controller or you need the 360 controller receiver to use a wireless 360 controller, and yes it’s because the 360 uses a proprietary wireless protocol, you’ll need the wireless receiver to use 360 controllers with anything other than a 360 console

I literally can’t get this to work with any of my controllers :/ I realized after watching that it won’t work with my xbone controllers because I got them right when the xbone came out, but my ps4 controllers should still work? nothign is working for me. my ps4 controller wont do squat. i even disconnected from my ps4 console and entirely unplugged the console. and then tried and nothing works. i plug in the controller and it turns orange and wont respond.

FEBRIZIOtv I experienced the same things along the ps4 controller’s light flashing white after disconnecting the cord or changing the mode on the usb. Once I got back to my dorm after break I borrowed my roommate’s ps4 controller and have since managed to get it working on a wired connection. How? I’m not sure. My recommendation is to find someone with another controller/wire you can borrow and test that one. Maybe it’s a controller issue for certain makes of dualshock 4’s? I’m really not sure but that’s about all I know :/ best of luck

@@TrashBa7 i figured it out. hold the center circle button on the ps4 controller, and hold the share button at the same time for like 5-10 seconds til it blinks 3 times on top. then itll be in sync mode. also. the magic ns has to be set to red or purple.

you'll need to use the cables native to each controller. Keep in mind the adapter itself is a glorified USB stick. PS3 and Wii U Pro controller = Mini USB. PS4 and X1 = Micro USB

I have not tested such compatibility, but I will the next time I get a chance to test. Initially DS 3&4 motion controls were not supported so I'll be curious to see if it works. The motion controller on the Switch is used a lot more than on any Sony console

I've seen that Brook's Converters latest update supports it. I was really hoping it would work somewhat on the Magic-NS for Mario Odyssey since some attacks can only be done with motion controls. I'll just have to wait till Monday when I get mine. 25€ is still a fair price, so I don't regret buying it.

hi Sergio, I think you're confusing 360 controllers with X1 controllers. 360 controllers do work but only the wired ones. For Xbox 1 controllers you do need to have one of the new bluetooth capable controllers to connect. Keep in mind that the device is simply a bluetooth connector. Bluetooth controllers for MS did release right about the time the Xbox One S came out and after. You'll need to check your controller for reference.
