Before you say that the patterns on the BOOG75 are HIDEOUS, remember that there is a version without them called the ZOOM75HE

@@B-a_s-H You're mistaken, son. GIF is an acronym, Graphics Interchange Format. Its hard G.

@@tomvelvet That is correct, but language rules state that a “G” followed by an “I” becomes a soft “G” (as in “giraffe,” “giant,” etc.). In this case, you are dealing with an acronym which, although the letters originate from certain words with their respective spelling and pronunciation, forms a new word. So, while there is a hard “G” in “Graphics,” it becomes soft when used in the acronym pronunciation. It's like migration. When you move from one country to another, your roots don't change, but you do have to conform to the new rules of the country you are currently in. Since the creator of this format also stated this to be the correct pronunciation (regardless of the OP’s opinions), that should be the way to go. IMHO. ps. I am not your son.

Hi, i have recently found very unique and rare keyboard that might interest you. Its a keyboard made for Odra computers, that were made in 70s in Poland. It costs ~150€, for some reason i cant send links here, so if you are interested, i could send the link via e mail or something. Also, i found alcatel mf ii and acer 6312k (both with acer switches) for 40€ each. Is that a fair price? Im kinda new to the vintage keyboards (i have only chicony kb 5191 with mitsumi miniature switches). Also how do the acer switches feel, are they mushy since they are have, what appears to be a small silicone dot that pushes on the membrane.

It sounds cool, what model is it? Unfortunately though, I can no longer spend money on keyboards. €40 is just about the maximum I reckon you could ask for an Acer board if it's in good condition. I've reviewed them before if you're interested, check it out.

hello bro, I don't know if you are going to answer but I wanted to know if there is a way to change the din 5 input to ps2, since I have a btc 5100 keyboard and I would like to adapt it to be ps2.

Yes, very easily! DIN isn't an output though, it's just a plug type. Several different protocols were used with DIN plugs (I'm assuming you mean the 5-pin 180 degree type). The BTC 5100 series used AT, which thankfully is natively compatible with PS/2, meaning you only need to buy a simple adapter to plug it into a PS/2 port. If the protocol was something else, like XT, you'd need an active converter to make the PS/2 interface understand it.

They didn't sell it to me, it's a review sample. They agreed beforehand to cover import fees, it's part of my terms and conditions.

@@bakakafka4428 I don't send back keyboards, that's another one of my conditions. It's extremely annoying and time-consuming and I need to be able to fall back on it if I need anyway. They did pay me in the end. It's never happened before but should a company default on the payment I'd just sell the keyboards to cover the costs. Unopened it should cover the expenses easily.

Boog sounds (and logo looks) like "Moog". I thought it would be MOOG synthesizer related. What a dissapointment
