Unboxing Mini CNC Machine from Genmitsu

This little CNC is built well but it's just too small to be useful for what I do. I ended up giving it to my nephew. He's a senior in high school and will be going to college to study mechanical engineering. He has also been into 3D printing for several years. I asked if he wanted it to learn about CNC's and he immediately said yes. So I think it went to a good home and will be a great teaching aid for him. That's where I'm at as well; it's too small to be very useful in the shop. I am getting a 4040 pro to get my foot in the cnc door though. I should be able to use that to make enough small projects to sell until I make enough to get my onefinity.

Yesterday, I watched the video you posted on the Jessum "older version" dowel jig. Left the message I was looking forward to seeing your review of the compatible workstation for it. Hey Matt, liked the video. The scenario, I had for getting a cheap machine like this was to learn how CNC 's work , learn about feeds and speeds, and learn the design software without a $1000 plus investment. My projects are mostly gift's. It's worked out well, and friends and family love the person little gifts . you're right, it's small and limited, but now I feel confident and am saving up for something like a onefinity. Keep the vids coming
