hi there!! thank you so much for posting this video, my top surgery consult is next month and i'm watching stuff to prepare for it! plus its awesome seeing/hearing the experience of a fellow not-transman-person :) may i ask why you didn't need drains? did your doctor explain that? i am really freaked out by the drains but nothing else really and i'd love to know how/if i can avoid them haha

Hi Everett! Basically my surgeon said it was up to me! He said there was an increased risk for fluid collecting under the skin but if that happened I would go into his office and he would extract it for me. He said he thought I would be fine though because I am thin. I'm not sure what the difference is between being thinner vs fatter for risk of fluid collecting unfortunately, I just took his word for it. But I didn't have any problems not having drains! No fluid collecting, nothing I needed to go in to get taken care of.

West Anderson that’s good to hear because I’m freaking out about getting drains but also am interested in Dr. Mosser! :)
