I have a similar vintage bag from Mark Cross. Then I realized it's like the Hermes Plume and Moynat Limousine bags. I call it my japanese school bag and it's the only bag I put a bag charm on bc it's so cute! The only issue is that it is in box leather so I have to be careful though since it's 30+ years old and basically looked pristine when I got it a couple years ago, I know it it's a tough one. Enjoy your bag!

Beautiful! I'm basically at purse peace, with one or two exceptions, and a Plume 28 is one of them. I will be doing a low/no buy year, with a couple planned purchases towards the end of 2024, and I'm hopeful a plume will be one of those (assuming one in the right color and condition pops up). As always, you have wonderful taste! The 32 looks very versatile, with Konmari folding you could probably use it as an overnight or weekend bag, but it's still small enough to use everyday. Blue Jean is a pretty color, I especially like it on the Plume because there isn't a lot of the contrast stitching (which I try to avoid because it sets off my OCD 😂) used on that style.

What a lovely bag - colour and model. Suddenly it stuck me that the new JW Anderson Loewe Amazona has a very similar shape to the Hermes Plume - just that Loewe version is a square, and the handle shorter. A Loewe Amazona in the H series of Stuart Vevers era, has a longer handle like your Hermes Plume, with side compartments (front and back). So visually it’s very much like your new Plume bag but in a Loewe trim.
