Awesome looking bow! I've been looking for a new one myself, and this one feels.. kinda tempting, honestly. Gonna have to check out the guys who made it!

excellent bow, its about the same size as my first reenactment bow, so many people disregard shorter bows for "longbows", but as kramer did a vieo on, shorter bows are more usefull in woodlands and for a ranger. there were recurve bows in lord of the rings, elven ones anyway. but in medieval europe there were some shorter bows that were recurve slightly, especeically for hunting rather than war. but a lot of people use modern recurve bows which look really out of place. 45lbs seems decent, its what i used doing target archery, renanctment bows were more like 30lbs. but for hunting some people use weak bows for speed, but thats unethical ( survival lilly channel) . Its great that you have a back quiver as well, so many longbow rangers have to use a side quiver because of the length of arrows. historically not many back quovers were worn, but there is manuscript evidence in saxon times that abck quovers used with shorter bows, they were drawn to the chest rather than cheek. as shorter limbs cant flex as much at higehr poundage so shorter bwo shorter draw. but a 24" draw 70lb bow is still lethal. I would suggest trying/comparing 24" arrows for speed and drawing, i found much quicker to draw from back, even when running, as quiver was shorter, i tied the bottom to my belt and it stayed in place nicely. even with western style archery, a short arrow can be quickly drawn and droped the the bow in one motion, much quicker than with side quiver ( where its up, down, and draw back, 3 motions)

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of this bow. I weighed it myself, today, and at my 30 inch draw it's at about 50 pounds. I really like it! But I am going to have to start wearing a glove to protect my knuckles, as there is no arrow shelf. My knuckles have already started to bleed, lol 😂

Kid, be mindful of the draw weight. By the time you hit 50, your body will make you pay for every bit of abuse you've put it through. Keep up the good work!
