I have a Tama Starclassic maple in deeper purple it’s a 6 piece with matching maple snare and it sounds so good. I love playing it live and at home. Such a pleasure to play both loud and gentle.

I always loved Tama. Lars Ulrich, Dave Lombardo, Stewart Copeland or Mike Portnoy, they all play Tama. They sound great, the hardware is solid, reliable and practical. But where they win upon all other brands are the finishes. No one beats Tama on finishes. This kit is a brilliant example. Congratulations Luana.

I still have my old tama starclassic performer efx kit and its in liquid metal wrap finish, this is kinda close to that, had my performer since 05/06 100% birch the good days, i play spawn now and using the good ole power tom sizes, keeping old school alive 🤘🏻

Prosit, Luana..! You definitely deserved that "quite emblematic" upgrade; though, to Me, a metal drum, has to have the double bass, quite mandatorily..! P.S. At the first sight it seems indeed inspired by some precious kind of black abalone shell, but knowing your "old/vintage" furniture and objects soft-spot, you should searching around for some (...Three would be the right number..!), affordable but precious, dark-green/black onyx tall candelabrae, to enhance even better, your new drum-kit scenographic, private ambient..!
