I have the losi 8ight buggy. The truggy now (the mods and engine that I have in it is much faster then the buggy. But you right in stock form the buggy is faster.

Good video, the shock towers are plastic? For 1/8 race buggy, I dont think that will workout to good? But who knows? You in a few weeks! Lol

RC OFFROAD RACING The shock towers are stamped aluminum. So far knock on wood 4 months later nothing has broke on the truck. Have done some slight modifications but for the most part it’s mainly stock. By me saying nothing broke other than the engine blew up 😂🤣😂🤣. Nothing against the engine but after doing a back plate swap a pipe and seeing what the engine is capable of it finally had enough. For the most part it truly is a great engine. In the upcoming days and weeks I will be doing some other modifications to the truck. As of right now it has an LRP 32X in it. And there will be a couple other mods coming soon. The truck is truly going to be an animal.

Lody Kolie yes. The engine did not break due to bad tuning or improper break in procedure. It let go because the bottom end of this engine is not strong enough to handle a backplate. The additional RPMs that the engine gained was honestly too much for what the engine is rated for. I was not expecting it to last forever. But I did give it a good shot. If I did not delete the pull start and add a back plate The engine will still be running today. However I have no regrets because the engine truly was a trooper for what it was it was incredibly strong and I was very happy with it.

It’s nice for $399, but for another $50 you could get the traxxas jato, or for another $100 you could get the traxxas revo, tough choice for me.

alright, i have used the revos and they are good, but not 530 dollars good. and for the jato i have tried those, they are uncontrollable, they are fun but hard to handle. Have not tried the 8ights but i think it would be the best bet. its 4wd and only 400 bucks, not bad

Don't waste your money on traxxas,Traxxas, are over priced,over rated junk. I had the jato, and the engine was very difficult to get tuned, and it got stuck in low cut grass,and didn't handle well at all.I also had the erevo, was a pretty good truck, but if you do any jumping, the ends will break off the push rods,and the shock ends will break as well. I also bought 4 new Traxxas 3 cell lipo batteries, only used them a few times and they all went bad.I will never waste my money on anything made by Traxxas again.
