Why would you need an amp for 40ohm headphones? These got even less impedance than airpods. While obviously a better source would improve quality, these totally don't need an amp. Anyway I wouldn't test them with youtube terrible compressed audio.

@@breathx separate Amps and DACs are one of the cheapest ways to get better sound quality to your ears. Driving the headphones doesn't mean it sounds good. Imagine driving a performance car with tires made 20 years ago (in mint condition) or really cheap tires. They make car go, but they're not good if you're looking to evaluate how good the car is.

I also think these arent targeted as desktop headphones, but these are obviously targeted for small devices or not powerful amps considering their impedance.
