DUDE! Thanks for the video, but keep a knife handy. The filter on a channel that is showing you something beautiful seems very counter intuitive. Im all in on this and can't wait till it gets here.

Thank you so much for this! Excited now more than ever for my order to come in. When the Kickstarter went live, I progressed from mild curiosity to "I'll just get the base game" to "I WANT EVERYTHING AND I WANT IT NOW!!" :D I can't wait for my gaming group's expressions when this hits the table. Again, thank you for this unboxing. It verifies that when I went all in on this, I chose...wisely.

I know that feeling. Seems everyday that passed I added more to my pledge. By the end there wasn't a thing I didn't get, I even got the art prints. In my defense though they are pretty good art prints. Besides by then I was already over $300 what was another $20? lol

Yo Did you hear about the new version of Fireball island? It’s called “Fireball island race to adventure” apparently It’s only at target stores and it’s way more smaller than the original do you have thoughts?

Yeah it’s a really smart idea so it’s affordable for peeps and created the same experience as the base game. The only issue is it doesn’t work with the expansions so it’s completely stand alone. For the target audience is great though :)

Yeah the stretch goals for the base game are. I’ve played solo a lot more than I have with others and it’s by far my favorite solo game :)

It’s way easier than it looks, but you won’t really know until you set it up and play it with everything in front of you. Watching videos of how to play without the game may feel overwhelming trust me 😅😅

As cool as this game is, I'd honestly rather go for the original Dark Tower despite the hefty prices it goes for. That's mainly due to the app dependency this remake has, I don't really care for board games where you have to download apps in order to play them because it goes against one of my personal reasons for wanting to collect and play board games (to spend time off the internet).

What's to point of offering this in 4k when the video filter degrades the footage to garbage quality?

Fan service on the scale of Spiderman: No Way Home! RG must be commended for their work, top to bottom. The kickstarter, the product, the play, the details, the app, the add-ons, the quality, and yes, even the shipping & distrobution. I know some are frustrated by the wait and the so called lack of details for the shipping, but they don't understand the massive undertaking to ship out this quantity in these conditions. I see a few who seem to think RG can tell each person exactly where their copy of the game is and the exact minute it will be delivered. RG, I apologize for those customers. Keep doing what you do.

How delightfully condescending to declare that anyone who isn't just fawning over RG and is unhappy about the lengthy delays (especially since those not in America still have no idea if their games will actually get on a boat) is stupid / doesn't understand.

That VHS filter basically ruins the video. Yeah, I get that it's meant to hearken back to the 80s when the original came out. But it looks terrible and is hard to get a sense of what the wash on the minis looks like.

Yeah, sorry, but the filter is absolutely obnoxious - and as a graphic designer I cannot understand why you would be okay with this as an aesthetic when its needlessly and pointlessly busy and detracts from the overall image quality. I could not imagine watching a miniature painting video, because the colour and fidelity would be distorted due to the filter.

I review vintage games and bring the games of the past to light. VHS is the aesthetic. As a graphic designer it doesn’t bother me. Simply style choice. Painted content would be posted on my social media like my previous painted content without the aesthetic for final products. Thanks for watching ;)
