i own all 3 sizes and i love them ! i do have professional watercolors but i love these... u know peerless would fit well if i use enough to hit the bottom of the pans ... all of mine under the last row swings out for a 3-5 inch mixing area and the top has a sponge

I bought the Fan Pan 42 colors and its really nice for my doodles. I get frustrated with the fan and sometimes get the colors on each other. The colors are sweet. Thanks for the video putting the name on the swatches…It has black as well, it has a little sponge glued to the top for dabbing the brush and there is an extra fan that is just a palette mixing tray. I think this is the new and improved version since your video.

the 18 and 24 sets both pink and green have beautiful colors order all 3 if you can afford then ali express has them very inexpensive and amazon is cheap too and doesn't take a month lik

I found that the pans lasted a bit longer. I don't do anything in regards to display painting. Mine are inside handmade watercolor journals. I don't think that they are very light fast. Thanks for sharing. I found one SUPER cheaper than everyone else. I got mine for $15 on amazon.

First I thought, that it looks like swatch cards for paints, but it seems to be very handy. Great Review! When the pans are that flat it may be possible to fill them with sheets of "peerless watercolor"? (I don't have it, but I've heard people like it...) I you need to fill it some day.

LanaGoesArt I agree! The sheets would work very well. However ordering another to replace this someday may be in the cards! ?? I don’t know. I really like it tho. It’s a lot of fun!

I'm glad you like these paints. I also didn't want to suggest to replace the paints rightaway or buy the sheets. I just thought, that if you someday wanted to replace the paints, it would be easier to use the sheets. :)

Oops! I meant to add that I bought this earlier today off of Amazon from the seller Misulove, though it's the same set . Mine came with a white removeable thin sponge in that space on top. It can be rinsed and put back on like velcro.

Hey there. I checked your insta and didn't easily spot any posts where you might've mentioned how your lightfast test went. How did they hold up? A friend of mine mentioned her paints were lasting a lot longer than she expected given how shallow the wells are. Have they been lasting for you? This is such a cool palette; the urge to splurge is real!

For some reason I thought these were like Viviva sheets, not very flat pans, but they look pretty vibrant so I'm guessing they went for dye based formulations as well. Possibly. (And I agree that not being able to close the folders when wet is a hassle, don't they have actual artists testing their products?) Is the brush a round or a flat? It's kind of hard to tell. :P And lovely portrait as always. ;)

Me too! I thought it was Viva-esque, but no, they are fine slivers of dry paint! Weird right?? I had to try it none-the-less. The brush is a round. zero fine point :( I'ts no big deal, i have others. Thanks Karijn :)

After 6 weeks they all did really well save for the Prussian blue and one warm red color. So, it is worth it.
