NGL, the clean design on the face of the monitor makes it stand out as a strong contender. Most gaming monitors have gaudy logos, icons, marks on the front. All the monitors without logos on the front are like $700 (most being oleds,) so a discrete logo on this monitor is welcomed.

The 6800xt should be able to hit decent fps in 1440p, give or take a couple settings set to medium/low Buy it and enjoy it for when you get a new gpu and can really see the difference

I tried the MSI monitor you are considering and I returned it. The colors were poor. The white was also more yellow in some places. It was also a dim monitor that lacked contrast. Very limited settings to adjust color.

@@david_thao when you turn on your PS5 go to the video settings it should be a setting there to let you know if it’s supported I don’t remember for sure as I don’t have it in my possession anymore.

It supports VRR (because of freesync) and 120 hertz, it does not support hdr.
