How would you use this amp with an automatic antenna tuner ? say the mfj 998 ? Would i just not activate the the ptt line when tuning ? Is the trx antenna line in a pass thru mode then ?

I use a MFJ998 You use the MFJ-5114I MFJ-5114 Original MFJ Enterprises Interface Cable: MFJ Auto Tuner to Icom For the Icom 7300 to control the tuner and you use the Icom IC-7300 Amp Relay Cable With ALC & Relay Buffer To have the Icom 7300 control the amplifier

I’m very interested in building this amp to use with myFTDX101D. I have read the construction manual and operating manual but have one remaining question. How do you deal with the automatic antenna switching and the 3 antenna outlets? Does the amp contain internal antenna tuners for the 3 antenna connections? Or would you potentially need 3 separate antenna external tuners? Thanks for your reply. Your videos are excellent.

You are correct. Each antenna input is a completely independent input.

LOGO IS NOT IMPORTANT...THE BEEP IS ANNOYING... OPEN FRAME RELAYS STILL BEING USED ???? WHY ??? THE FAN IS NOTICEABLE IN IDLE, WHAT IS THE NOISE OF THE FAN AT 1 KW WHEN IN USE FOR 15 MINUTES IN SSB MODE... I DONT SEE ENOUGH BY THE BUILDERS OF THIS AMP AND MAKE IT PROFESSIONAL VIDEO......PRICE IS GOOD HOWEVER MORE INFO WILL NE NICE LETS SEE A GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU 73.
