Wonderful speakers. I like these video's best when Adrian does them by himself.

Sonus Faber makes the most beautiful speakers ever, IMO. not surprised though since they’re made in Italy.

@@simonebiagini1409 😂 Well I’m not gonna argue with about that because I own a full McIntosh stereo system. Unfortunately you’ll probably get a lot of people giving you a lot of s**t about the sound of McIntosh and saying how they are overpriced. I could really care less though what people say. I love my McIntosh system. Best money I’ve ever spent.

@@pf5658 in fact you are right I own a mc302 with a pre c53 and here in Italy when people talk about mcintosh they always make the speeches you wrote ... many don't like the sound, and keep in mind that there are import costs so our price lists are higher than the US ones so we also have greater criticism than the US but I would not change my mcintosh system for anything in the world and if one day I'l go in USA to spend my holidays I would like to go to Birghamton at see the mcintosh headquarters .....aaaaaaaahh....... my dream .....

@@simonebiagini1409 I am very happy to hear you love your McIntosh system and probably as much as I like mine. 😂 Didn’t know the cost was more there but then again it makes sense. I guess we probably pay more for Sonus Faber speakers here in the US? I lived in NYC before and unfortunately I never took the time to visit the factory. It was on my to do list but just never had the time. I hope you get the opportunity to visit one day. I did however met the CEO Charlie Randall at a dealer event and even got to take pics with him. His a very nice down to earth kinda guy. I hope to meet him again one day and have him sign my McIntosh book.

@@pf5658 Hello well yes, the price lists of Italian MPI resellers are higher than those of the United States because there are customs and import costs. It must be said, however, that the second-hand market here is very developed because in 99% of cases we are talking about machines kept in a maniacal way. It is thought that the price of sonus fabers in America is slightly higher than here for the same reason wow did you meet charlie randall !!! lucky ...... I envy you ........🤩🤩 I hope in two or three years to be able to go and visit that factory ........ pandemic obviously permitting ----------ticket prices for united states and return are not very high from milan and rome 'cause there is a lot of competition between airlines ......... I've always had this passion and visiting it would be really the top .......

Love your videos. Enjoy watching them and learned a lot from them. I can’t find a dealer near me for the Sonus Faber speakers. I live in the southwest US. Do you know where can I find a dealer that sells Sonus Faber speakers in the US. Thanks and please continue with your informative videos.

Can you please do a sonetto viii unboxing and review? I am strongly considering getting them next year even though they are very dear in Australia. Would love you know your thoughts about them and what other speakers should I consider for my 5.1.4 build.

Hello Adrian, thank you for a very informative review. However, I have a couple of questions/concerns: 1. Would the spikes penetrate a really thick deep-pile carpet? 2. When placed on such a carpet, would it block the downward firing port, thereby affecting the bass response? Your advice would be much appreciated!
@HermesTrismegistes369 Жыл бұрын
It will affect it. Try a slap of concrete or tile, or maybe a nice square piece of wood you could place it on with spikes etc.

@@BastardLikeAFox I’m typically a home theater guy but thinking of also getting a pair of audiophile speakers for critical listening. I’m coming to the realization they’re just 2 completely different things.

@Slimer I used to spend time and money on building dual purpose HT/2CH setups before I switched to a dedicated music only rig. 2 channel is the best way for real music reproduction IMO.
@Sloimer Жыл бұрын
@@BastardLikeAFox yeah. I used to have a 5.1. Now I use a 2.2 setup for gaming because I love the impact and bass. But I still have an itch for true audiophile sound for music. As much as I love my HT speakers for games and movies, when it comes to music, they basically just sound like giant versions of my AirPods. There’s clearly a lot of tonal and textural information missing.
