Yeah, single-take playthroughs take forever to film (and watch). I think the best approach is going through one full turn on camera followed by turn recaps. With heavy editing. It's time consuming and I don't blame you for not wanting to go down that rabbit hole. Keep up the great work though. I enjoy the game overviews.

The 2 brown cards are for players, and are supposed to go in the deck from Close Encounters, while the other 6 are for the solitaire AI.

I am still getting a feel for this game. When I truly get the hang of it, I want to try playing Epic style with two maps.

It's excellent by the way. More of everything (ships, cards, terrain) and the tiles allow player to remove one chit from each hex.

Replicators is Expansion #3. Close Encounters is Expansion #2 which is where the original Empire Advantage deck comes from, as well as the fleet card. Thanks for the video, I really enjoy your channel.

Replicators is the second expansion as stated in the review. You can read on the back of the box a few minutes into the review "Ownership of the first expansion, Space Empires: Close Encounters, is recommended". From the GMT web site: "Space Empires: Replicators is the Second Expansion in the Space Empires series".

Michael Collins you are correct. I got frustrated by him not mentioning Close Encounters. I should have said replicators is the 3rd installment not expansion.
