I have the Mille GT Winter Jacket and the spring/fall jacket and both represent excellent value and perform very well. I do find the winter jacket a bit cold myself and believe the Equipe RS would be the jacket to have but at £575 it doesn't offer any value for money IMO. I love Assos stuff but £575 for a soft-shell is ridiculous.

Nice presentation Lucy, jacket is too light for my winter conditions, but pricing is on par with what I ride winter in now. So not crazy overpriced for premium kit like some folks think.

After 6 years of using Assos products, I can say that they are and have been always the absolute reference for technical performance, unfortunately you can't say the same about the boring design and about the fact that in some reference products you can't even choose the color and you have to stuck with the one they have decided. Even if their customers and distributors have sent them several inputs in the latest years, they simply don't care and don't listen, so over the years i went from having 70% Assos in my wardrobe to 30% just because I become upset with them. Than there is the fact that they have almost doubled the prices in 2-3 year time in their flagship products.

Hi guys! I just got my jacket and I have you notice that the inner shell or chest skirt the cut and the zipper is offset. Is this done by assos intentionally?

Crazy price,but like all Assos kit (apart from the track mitts) it will last for years, especially if you wash it properly.

@@jasonwright6823 at the beginning i was skeptical about the price but now i have to say it's the best jacket i have, i ride to work every day at 0 degrees with this jacket and last sunday i rde 150km at 3 degrees. it is much lighter than the mille ultraz but is much warmer, the only thing that i have under the jacket is the summer baselayer. it's a lot of money but it's worth it when you ride every day during the winter.

@@jasonwright6823 I live in California and highest I've worn it at 55F. It's actually not a super warm jacket, the Mille Ultraz Winter is significantly warmer for half the price. The pod on the back is placed pretty high so unless you're super flexible, you won't be able to put stuff in there, only pull gillet out. Also note the inside layer only covers your chest, it's like a half jersey that doesn't cover your stomach.

Really u think it looks good? It's black with 2 blue stripes that look glued on, for €700 it should look much better and should be in different colors not just black, who even designs a winter jacket that is black and €700, ok I get that a €60 jacket is black but not a €700 jacket! By the way any jacket with Polartec Alpha will do the same for about €200!
