Hey Joe. It's Eliot. Love your unboxing! Here's why I love it...First, after watching all the other channels, I truly think everyone is over analyzing this release! This release was put out to celebrate The Beatles coming to the USA! It's released for everyone to enjoy if the choose to purchase it. It's not released for everyone to put under a microscope and analyze. It's also released for a whole new generation of fans that never lived when they were originally released. Everyone that chose to purchase it should just sit back, put on one of the albums and enjoy it! These are just my feelings about this release.

When this boxset was announced I had decided not to buy it as I had the Capitol CDs. However, I changed my mind remembering that I had these albums back in the late 60s / early 70s through an American neighbour who was based in Edinburgh with the USAF. The nostalgia kicked in and I weakened. Now I’m very pleased to have purchased this boxset. It’s perhaps surprisingly sold very well here in the UK. I also understand through contacts in US & Canada that many retailers only got a small percentage of their original orders which is very disappointing for fans who wanted the set. Universal/Apple/Capitol have perhaps underestimated the demand. As I write the boxset is still available from HMV (UK) & The Beatles UK/Europe website for anyone interested in buying a set. Meet The Beatles (blue vinyl) is exclusively sold by HMV over here. Same release as the US Target version.

Hello Mr. Mayo It is so cool that the people from The Record store let you do an unboxing of this Beatles box set I can imagine that it is a very cool looking set but like you I also didn’t get it because first of all it is really expensive and second I don’t need it because I have the 2 Capitol albums CD box sets that came out in the early 2000s and I also have the US albums box set that came out in 2014 However, I am very happy for everyone who could afford this box set and I know that they will definitely enjoy it I want to thank the people from your record store for letting you open the box sent and I wanna thank you for showing it to us I will catch you on the next video and I send my blessings to you and to the people from your record store as well

I skipped the boxset. Today Acoustic Sounds listed the six 1964 LPs for sale for $30 each. I ordered all 6 as I have most of them in stereo. Recently got into mono pressings with an Audio Technics 33MONO cart. Thanks for the vid!

Very cool sharing and showing reaction When I got my copy it felt like Christmas when unboxing. Just the RSD Black Friday Beatle releases to go to complete my year. Agree Beatles 2nd Album a great RocknRoll album. Look forward to next video.

@ and Beatles 65 Side 2 still sounds shrill and drenched in reverb Dexterization but the vocals on I Feel Fine seem clearer with less simbulance. Other than those things the box set rocks. Even Beatles Story sounds good lol

I just noticed that the photos of the tape boxes for The Beatles Story and Early Beatles are for the " stereo" tapes. The Beatles Story says " stereo" in red ink and the Early Beatles says "ST-2309" and not "T-2309".

Super made Beatles box set Capitol mono I hear it sounds great better than the originals Apple Capital really out done themselves hopefully they will continue the rest of Capitol also it is selling real good it could crack top 40 on billboard and UK charts!!! I'm a first generation Beatle fan and have heard many copy's of U.K and American Beatles albums and imho these new releases are the best Ive ever heard, the volume is loud and all instruments are very equalized! Can't wait for the next installment if there is one! I'm like a 69 yrs young kid again!

I can't believe they let you have your hands all over it. Hope they sell it at a discounted price and I understand what they are saying in the comments, but there are people around the world that have never listened to these American versions. I have the stereo,mono and Beatles home and away box sets and I'll be getting this box set. Each to their own I say and have a good one

The Post-it-notes are interesting, presumably not from 1964. It's a great set, but there are quite a few tales on Facebook groups of dusty or dirty vinyl and quite a bit of skipping on some tracks. It'll be interesting to see if that develops into a major problem. My set is okay and I already want Beatles VI, Help!, Yesterday and Today and Rubber Soul. 🙂

I've heard that the Post-it notes were added at the time these cards were being archived (1980s?). So no, the Post-its weren't an original part of the cards.

Its a shame that with today's technology they couldn't enhance and sharpen the album art photography. Anyone can download apps to restore old photos, too bad Capitol decided to not bother.

I had these albums at 14 myself, mine are in terrible shape as far as wear and tear so I bought this set. It is fantastic, the quietest records I have ever owned. This is a great set for anyone on the fence!
