Fun fact: They had tried 3 times to bring Mad Magazine to Italy (70's, 80's and in the 90s) from three different publishing houses, unfortunately it was never successful.

According to Wikipedia: (MAD publisher) William Gaines related in 1992 that Mad "was not changed [into a magazine] to avoid the Code" but "as a result of this [change of format] it did avoid the Code."[4] Gaines claimed that Kurtzman had at the time received "a very lucrative offer from...Pageant magazine," and seeing as he, Kurtzman, "had, prior to that time, evinced an interest in changing Mad into a magazine," Gaines, "not know[ing] anything about publishing magazines," countered that offer by allowing Kurtzman to make the change. Gaines further stated that "if Harvey [Kurtzman] had not gotten that offer from Pageant, Mad probably would not have changed format."

Mad Magazine uses the logo from its comic roots and the 2020 logo is used in tandem with the logo that they came out in 2018

I own EVERY MAD Magazine from issue #36 (before I was born) to #550 and then the California issues from #1 to #24 (I think). I’ll be retiring soon to another country so I’m going to start thinking of selling my collection. Any suggestions on the best place to sell them? Thanks

I think they reprinted this in the late 80s I brought it new back then. Ita was exactly the same as the original print... EDIT it was a collectors edition which was written on the front at the bottom

Please let me know what issue of Mad Magazine has a humorous comparative illustration of a hardened, tough-as-nails US Army soldier and a raggedy ass, useless ass hippie during the Vietnam War. The illustration is either an issue cover or an internal illustration. I was overseas when I first saw it, laughed my butt off with a bunch of buddies.

This next comment was created in dedication to CrowRanaBurger. Subscribe! (It's comedy, no seriousness) Introducing... the new... REALLY PISSED OFF MAGAZINES! They punch your wife in the face! They poke your eyes until you're blind! They burn your house down! They don't subscribe to CrowRanaBurger! 2 days later... We had to burn down all of the really pissed off magazines for 2 reasons! One, people thought pissed off had to do with peeing, so they urinated on the magazines! Hooray! Just what we needed! Urine for our next invention! The second, and main reason, was because many riots have formed because the really pissed off magazine wouldn't subscribe to CrowRanaBurger! We are now about to be beheaded! SUBSCRIBE TO CROWRANABURGER OR DIE!!! 450 years later... I don't know if I can take this anymore. People are hunting me down. They want my family dead. It is something they had supposedly done from generation to generation. I live in constant fear, hiding in a dumpster in a dark alleyway. Ouch! What's this? It looks like a book. Someone must have thrown it out. Let's see here... "450 years ago, a man had created a new magazine called the 'Really Pissed Off Magazine.' It did various crimes, but the most disturbing thing it did was to not subscribe to CrowRanaBurger. Many riots had formed, chanting that it was all of the creator's fault, even after the creator had supposedly burnt down all of the magazines. Everyone still believed that he was diabolical for even mentioning- or creating someone that would, for that matter- not subscribe to CrowRanaBurger. He was beheaded, but the townspeople were still not pleased. So, they bowed to always hunt down the Dicky family, forever. Until the entire family was gone. This, of course, was a difficult task. And to this day, the Dicky family remains with only one member left: Butthole Dude." Butthole Dude? That's me! Butthole Dude accidentally said on one of CrowRanaBurger's videos that he sucked, instead of saying that he's the best youtuber to ever exist. And now he was REALLY being hunted down.
