I got the 2022 GE77 which has the 12 gen CPU and the RTX3080Ti. Love it, the cooling is excellent and it runs exactly like my 2020 gaming PC with the Ryzen 9 3950.

I had 150MB/s copying 4GB GoPro video file from SD card.My MSI Creator 17" laptop $3400 a few years ago was slow as crap on the micro SD card. usually 12MB/s. That was garbage. had to use an external reader.

I ran the PugetBench Photoshop Benchmarks against the Intel i9v13 64GB RAM against an i9v11 16GB and 40GB RAM. The MSI doubled the score of my 2 yr old 16GB RAM laptop, but once I upgraded my RAM to 40GB it was about 1.5x faster. I would update the bios since the bios has a bug in the DGPU mode where u can't adjust the brightness the bios it includes was like pre release back in December before the 13th Gen and 4090 was even out

I replaced my GT75 9SG with this model and the difference is incredible. The CPU and GPU smoke the 9SG's older i9/2080 combo - 4K video rendering is nearly twice as fast in my experience so far (and with 128gb of RAM you have a good chunk of headroom for smooth 4K video editing) and it'll play any game you throw at it in 4K at well over 60fps on ultra settings - and it does that using only one power brick! I'm so happy to not have to deal with the two bricks feeding into that adapter anymore, and the machine is tiny in comparison. The 9SG looks absurd sitting next to it since it's nearly 2X as thick and much heavier. The screen looks great too, but the MiniLED panel does have few issues with bloom when you're looking at thin, light colored lines against a black background (like I often have with sound editing), and Windows 11's HDR implementation sucks ass. The speakers are about the same quality, but the keyboard platform has a lot more flex to it compared to the 9SG, and I'm not a fan of the LED lighting on the chassis. It looks tacky, cheap, and gimmicky on a machine of this class. I turned all of that BS external lighting off. The keyboard backlighting is nice though. Still, those are minor annoyances. If you're happy with your 9SG and you're not squeamish about the price tag (this costs about the same as the 9SG did back in 2018 when I bought one), you'll be happy with this. It's ugly, but if you need the extra performance, it's a worthwhile upgrade. I'm pretty satisfied.

GizmoSlipTech: I believe what you have is 128GB (32GB*4) DDR5 3600MHz. The way i use my laptop at home is i remove the battery and just use the power cord to the wall. If i got the laptop in this video could i use it the same way? Also, i have no use for facial scan or thumbprint scan to log in. Could i just automatically log in without using these features?

Yes you can login with or without a password or other traditional methods as well. You can leave the laptop plugged in sure. The batteries of most newer gaming laptops aren't removable easily. Yet you don't really have a reason to remove the battery most likely anyhow. 128GB Memory ram one is indeed 32GB*4 correct.

I just got this laptop yesterday and I am hearing a strange noise from the rear of this laptop. It sounds like either a fan noise like a quick stop/start noise or something similar to a mechanical HDD drive. It's bothering me as I can hear it every 20 seconds or so. Just wondering if anyone has encountered this with this laptop or if I should look at returning it.

I know exactly what fan noise you're talking about, i had last years GT77 and it had that chirping fan noise, sent it in for rma that annoying noise got even worse. So i returned the laptop altogether. I just bought the new gt77 and was hoping the noise wouldn't be there but alas its still there. So i just unplugged that connector for Fan 3 and 4. In heavy gaming those fans did help, around 3° colder for gpu.

I'd say the asus strix is the safe option. Has liquid metal on cpu and gpu and really good cooling and you can also undervolt it. Also I checked and the razer laptops have absolutely hideous reviews right now.

Assuming you know very well what G-Sync does, it is pretty much useless on the MSI titan GT77; Why? Because the display is still at 144Hz, meaning playing anything with above 144 fps will be useless, and this is where G-Sync comes: Tearing is only really noticeable going very far up with the frames, meaning above 200, so unless your laptop is a rusted can from 2016, you will not notice any tearing playing games. So tl;dr unless you go beyond 144 fps in any game on this laptop, you will not have any trace of screen tearing. That is why MSI dropped it.

Portability, size of screen, pricing of G18 should cost a little more, weight, no numpad, and the larger laptop has more exhaust fins for slightly better thermals most likely

@@Ransom.00 как по мне минилед лучше и приятное для глаз сама модель сделана достаточно качественна с обновой софта станет более стабильным охлаждение среднее без наушников в жару шумит но не критично и разогрев адекватный нет подсветки спереди что радует ночью это сильно раздражает чистота может быть значима в будущем сейчас минилед явно лучше посмотри обзоры иностранных блогеров их много в целом для меня главные минусы мелкий экран и клавиатурная я люблю большие ноуты до этого хищник 21х использовал как по мне это лучшая модель ноута что я видел да титан не дешёвый особенно 128 оперативы и 8 терабайт но как по мне он того стоит 5 поколение не сильно будет лучше так что с запасом на несколько лет да и с учётом ситуации в мире цены могут сильно подскочить в будущем брать что то слабее не вижу смысла если достойное то самый важный фактор это качество сборки и материалы на тестах разница между 3000 и 4000 серией большая
