A little surprised how many people like the red accents. I had my V2's wheels, fenders, radiator surround, and mirrors painted white to match, and I had the red accents covered by white wrap. I really couldn't get over how out-of-place the red color looked, but to each their own. It's likely I'll never see one painted quite like mine, I bet no one would like it.

Fantastic video thanks. Seems to me that so much work goes in to accessing the battery compartment, surely you should attach an Optimate connector before re-fastening the whole thing. Minimal cost on a £15k bike and most owners would probably pay for it.

You don't need to connect optimate cables to the battery direct, ducati supply a adapter cable & you plug in to the ecu port under seat

Haha yep Steve those reflectors are part of licensing requirements but yep they gotta go. Takes about 2 or 3 hrs to do bike PD or all day if you film it for youtube and 7 hrs of editing on top of that.

Awesome bike, love the V2, I’m hoping Ducati will produce a V2 street fighter. I was surprised how complete the bike was from the box. I used to work for Kawasaki in the 80,s unboxing a new bike then required lights, handlebars front wheels mudguards to be fitted. No laptop required though lol.

Any Ducati of mine will always be red, but I really like how the red accents and wheels make the white pop. It is definitely the best looking white livery I've seen but I still find it so boring. Probably because I have only ever bought cheap second hand cars and for some reason they have all been white, I am so over white 😧😠😭 White is for poor people who can't afford an extra few hundred for a real colour 😁😀

Cool way to balance the throttle bodies. Is this to compensate for different altitude and atmospheric conditions from those found at the Ducati factory?

Its just a feature of the service tool where it can read the vacuum on each cylinder and adjust accordingly. I would imagine to have these reset and any other adaptive resets done in your home town with your local petrol could only be a benefit. No more screwdrivers to tune this thing hey mate !

@17TUCV032 MONISH.S I heard people had problem with engine that turned off random while driving or when you're waiting in neutral at traffic light. Someone says the heat is really high with stock exhaust and you should replace with akra (slip on over 3.000€)... I would like to buy the Bayliss V2 but I'm not quite sure right now :( the price is really high.

There isnt one supplied and fitted from the factory. Sometimes the customer request a CTek trickle charger. These are good for winter layup.

Thanks for sharing the whole process. Was curious to know, 1.how much time does it take on an average for the pre-delivery and 2.what do you guys do with the box frames in which the bike comes, are they locally recycled or sent back to Ducati?

It takes a few hours to do it nice and not rush it. Also with the crates etc,,, the cardboard is recycled and the steel crates are also collected by a scrap metal dude. It it steel that surface rusts instantly if water hits it.
