Thank you so much for the video. I did receive two Seaboard blocks M yesterday. But I had to scratch my head to understand how to get started. Now with your video. It makes sense. There is not much instruction with the product. The dashboard does not work with them. So I am using Roli Connect and Studio. Also I bought Equator. I am using Windows 10. The dashboard seems to have a driver problem. I couldn't fix it.

You can use it pretty well. Download Roli connect then Studio player in the apps section. Connect you blocks and play

Thanks for this video! Crazily, I too have the Seaboard Block AND HZ Strings! I've gotten the "gld=ide" (or whatever it's called) to adjust velocity, like you did in your awesome vid, but it glitches like crazy when playing chords (when using the insane HZ patches for basically "pads with movement"). Just wondering if you've figured out a way to get that work :-) If I do, I'll post back, haha Also, can't figure out how to get pitch bending happening, which maybe isn't possible within the new Spitfire player... (Some of the patches, I've been able to map vibrato... and mapping reverb is fun.)

it's possible to connect 4 of these to use as a grand piano?
@producewithjt5 жыл бұрын
guims357 I think it is.. but then you could just buy the bigger one..
@jimmedia104 жыл бұрын
It's actually more cost effective to get 4 of these than a bigger one... plus fold away, adaptable and thinner

Great Video !! Thanks!! Is there a Transpose option in Seaboard block, like we do in normal MIDI Keyboards ?

Lol: i'm wondering too!!!

I searched more about it! The arrow buttons "" at the top can also be used as octave transpose. Gotta press it longer or something.

Hey , just found your amazing channel. I would like an opinion, i'm student of music (I play piano since a lot of years) and I'm thinking on learning some more armony and more types of music... I want to buy Seabord blocks. Do you think is a good inversion since I want it so I can get fun and make some weird experiments since i'm not producer and i don't have "musical producer" knowing. (I don't really know about programmes but I'm very good at tech and learning new things so... that kind of thing unless it is very difficult, I can learn it) (Sorry for my English haha)
@producewithjt4 жыл бұрын
Camille259 So your goal is to make musical experiments?
@camello2594 жыл бұрын
@@producewithjt Yup and play different types of music too. I have some knowing about violin and trumpet too, some of the interpretation between instruments are very different, but for example the seabords blocks seem very legit to play with just a "piano" point of view. (I don't know if my point of view is understandable, but I try hard to translate my language haha)
@producewithjt4 жыл бұрын
Camille259 Actually, to just play piano, the seabords are quite difficult. They don’t have the same size in width and because the key height is also different, you kind of have to look at the keys a lot to know what you’re playing... I wouldn’t recommend it as a first controller..
@camello2594 жыл бұрын
@@producewithjt Thank you very much for your response! Yeah, I've noticed that, but.. since i've played another types of instruments I think it wouldn't be too difficult to get used into, in addition to that. Is there anything particularly limiting about getting started with the hardware/software, programmes, etc?

So which control block do you need to purchase to have this work with the Hans Zimmer Strings
@producewithjt6 жыл бұрын
Ramon Key You’d need a Lightpad Block to send 2 different CC to HZS... until Spitfire allows us to use the same CC for both faders.

Why do you use XFER SERUM instead of Equator 2?

Not sure I understand what you're asking
@warpig27862 жыл бұрын
@@producewithjt Measure the height and width of the box. Why am i asking this is probably what you don't understand? Simple. Roli doesn't ship to México, so I've got a friend who could receive the package in the United States and send it over to me. Hope that's more clear :-)
