I've wanted this truck for a while. I mean come on man it's got the perfect number on it already! 00

A worthy addition to the collection👍🏻 Psst.....you've got Blue Moon, so Hoonitruck needs some rusty paint highlights😉

Seeing you do a review of this truck got my attention. I prefer the Datsun truck body. Hoons are cool but I could take a can of green paint and respray the Datsun and it would look a lot like one I saw everyday growing up in Goleta California. Through the miracle of lay-a-way, Thank You Hobby Town, I have a V-100 Chevy C10, the Fazer Charger and the Flux E-Tron. Their all cool and I am likely wrong here but upgrades for these platforms seem hard to get, hard to find. Other content makers testing these cars out of the box get cringy when they jump them and you hear all that plastic slap the ground or they upgrade the electronics and smoke the diffs and spur gear. My opinion is the Flux is the best of the three. I have heard there was a HPI monster truck that had metal gears that would fit the Flux but I have never been able to find the parts. Kyosho has that monster truck Ford van and it has a few metal parts that cross over but I haven't checked into it. This Associated chassis setup looks a lot better! Your closeup views shows really great detail. And the way they have designed the chassis and the materials it appears to be made of "made to be worked on." It doesn't look fragile. Being Associated I bet there is upgrades . You and Exocage have me thinking about the Datsun. I have a "more is better, too much is just right" brushless system sitting here..... Joshua, you have never done a brushless setup in one of the rat rods right? I'm not going to try it, I don't want to turn my chassis into a pretzel. Just wondering.

I have a cheap brushless setup in old #2 but it’s not really geared quite right. It’ll go fast enough to spin tires. But I know the crazy type setup your talking about. I put some giant castle system in an old losi xxxs on the channel many years ago and roasted the tires on one drive. Lol. Fun was had. That was my feeling after driving this truck, needs to be a bit faster.

Was that a 2cell or 3cell batt you ran? If you said it, I missed it. Pretty quick little rig for stock whatever it was.

It was a 3700 3s

I think that associated kinda dropped the ball with this rig, reason being that they shoild have made it to be able to annihilate the arrma infraction which is a fake non licensed hoonitruck

Your talking a 1/7 scale truck with a much larger brushless system. Compared to this which is 1/10 scale and brushed.....
@gabrielpichardo1492 Жыл бұрын
@@Rocketman442-RC exactly, that’s what they should have made but even faster

@@gabrielpichardo1492 that's not what AE is about. It's a racing company that has won world championships since the 80s. And they usually stick with the 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale stuff
