Great video Alex! I have the keyboard, moved up from the Speed editor, and I love it for editing. Really great to have the shortcuts on the keys and as a keyboard is always needed when editing you get a much more ergonomic setup than with the Speed editor AND a normal keyboard. Downsides are that I miss is backlighting and I must admit it is not great for non editing work like longer session of typing where I prefer my Logitech Mechanical MX keyboard.

I actually have both the Editor Keyboard and 2 speed editors. One Speed Editor is on my iPad Pro (via Bluetooth) or my Mac (wired), and the other shares duty with the Editor Keyboard on my main PC. The Editor Keyboard is fantastic, and I use just about every feature on it (especially Nudge Left and Right). The new jog wheel is a huge upgrade from the speed editor when in shuttle mode. My main reason for keeping both is that I can use the Speed editor a bit further away from the desktop in my office chair, with an extension, because of the Bluetooth. I haven’t been able to use the keypad on the Editor Keyboard as easily as on the Speed Editor for “painting” video onto a track, but that may be my personal hang up. I just bought the editor keyboad and love it, I hope to get an answer to my question about the F/TC key. Everytine I press is to get to a certain location on a mediapool clip via timecode, the number field switches to frame count, in other words everytime I press the F/TC key it defaults to frame count. I have right clicked on the number field to change it back ti tC display, but it seems to switch back to frame count. How can that be fixed?

One Studio license, or two? (You get two if you buy Studio directly.) Also, for the included Studio license, do you have to specify Mac or PC, or does the included license work on either?

I have a speed editor, but i have been thinking about getting the full keyboard for some time. I would like to know more about it and how if helps your workflow. also interested in seeing if this means i could pass my speed editor to a friend or if i should keep it for work in the cut page. kinda disappointed that it has to be wired in...i love that the speed editor is wireless.

So, does the wheel have the mysterious and apparently useless click? Also the 8 keys on the Speed Editor (That I have) seem to be somewhat randomly spread around on this, is the split key now the blade key?

The wheel does indeed click down yet seemingly irrelevant and you can’t customise this. Wish this was possible. Definitely a different key layout but this is essentially designed to be like a normal QWERTY keyboard so the main body are just labelled up to represent the default keyboard shortcuts.
