the screw on the turret, is to take off the turret and set to zero. dont think it will adjust the turret tightness.

Absolutely correct. You only loosen them to set the zero point on the turrets.

It doesn’t come with any lens covers? Weird how the strike eagles do but this one doesn’t.

Mine did but I think I took them out the box

How does this compare to the primary arms slx 1x6 raptor is the other one that I'm looking at.
@LLpros4 жыл бұрын
Well I’ve never tested out the Primary Arms version but from what I can tell from the reviews this one is a big upgrade to that one.

@@LLpros most definitely it is better, good review I'm gonna pay a lil more and not regret it thanks.

The main feature of slx is the reticle. A bad reticule will kill an optic, even one with good glass and features. The slx is Primary Arms sliver line of scopes which is considered mid tier but the Vioer PST is a better quality scope all around, minus the reticule imo. The other thing you may want to keep in mind is the weight. Viper PST is chonky at 23+oz. Swampfox Arrowhead 1-6 or 1-8 is a better buy than the slx too imo. The 1-10 eye box is too tight to really be useful but the glass, reticule, brightness, craftsmanship and glass are all better than the slx too. That's only 20oz too, even the 1-10. The slx just feels cheap to me compared to others in the same price range. The slx will be cheaper altogether and you'll get a free decent scope mount too if that'a something you want to consider. I'd buy the Viper PST, Swampfox Arrowhead, then slx in that order from best to worst. The only thing the slx has going for it is the reticule.

Hey man, when you got the scope was the box covered in plastic? Or sealed in any way. I got mine yesterday and today was like wait a second this box wasn't sealed at all. Wondering if I got a return or something from amazon or if they just dont wrap these
