Back in the 80's i used to play the first W.A.S.P. album really loud in my bedroom. I remember coming downstairs once and caught my mum singing On Your Knees to herself while she was ironing.

WASP never became a big name and I never could figure out why. I’m very happy a box set exists, no one should take that for granted. I got the vinyl version and loved the huge Chris Holmes photo on the slip case. That was a cool thing to do.

That upcoming David Lee Roth Warner Bros. box set seems like a cheap one too. I bet Dave has nothing to do with it lol. Still it's the only way to get YFLM for vinyl if you're a completionist.

Hey Dr fuk nice review , I ordered the cd box set and I’m excited waiting for it , hey you called the crimson idol the eternal idol lol 😂 Paul thanley of kith would not like a blunder like that lol 😂 but anyways yeah that Motley Crue box set was a massive rip off so I passed on it , they could of put that on two cds , It was the original Dr feelgood cd with like two cd eps , and they tried to stretch it to a full on box set , 5 live tracks ? That’s an ep , why not a full show from the Dr feelgood tour instead of just 5 live tracks ?

I thought that "Still Not Black Enough" was originally a Capitol records release? Maybe not. Even after all the years I'm still impressed with how great WASP's records sounded. They were expertly produced. Even when the songs themselves were not that great you still couldn't deny the killer guitar tones, vocals and overall sound quality. They just hit different than many other bands' records. Blackie was devoted to his craft 100%.
