I've just got one of these, how did I live without it?! If there were a Nobel prize for services to fiber arts - the inventor should win it. My cat (Monica) sits mesmerized by it instead of attacking my yarn which is invariably on the floor. x

I have had mine for ages , and was using it when I watched your video, If using outside yarn it is amazing, runs smoothly , its on a level with me, so my dog cant drool all over it, he loves yarn !!!! He thinks he is pretty smart, but he cant crochet. Thank you for sharing. Regards from London

My son got the wool jeanie for me for Christmas. I love it!! It really works great! I use it on crochet thread and yarn cakes and skeins. Keeps the yarn from tangling and getting dirty. And it keeps the yarn away from my cat!

I received one for Christmas.. it is pretty slick! I placed this yarn feeder about 5 feet away from my chair, and it spun all of the yarn, all the way down to the last 12"!!! I only had minor issues with it, and it never tangled or made me cuss at the yarn! 🫣 I was soooo impressed! 👏🏼👏🏼

This is a game changer. I’ve had my wool Jeanie for several months now and I honestly don’t know how I got by without it. My only niggle with it is that any big skein 200g and over is a bit too heavy for it.

I've gotten 2 of these so far (I get mine off Etsy) and will probably buy more spindles! If you get your fingers into the skein and kind of pull and wiggle a bit it will shorten the skein and they fit a bit better. I really want one that takes full skeins though!! My biggest surprise is that you are only now seeing this! Best thing since sliced bread!!

I never purchased a yarn bowl before, just used an old Rubbermaid square plastic container for years! I always wondered about the line/holes on those bowls! 🫢 I think the Wool Jeanie is more my cup of tea. I hope so at least - I just ordered one from the UK yesterday.

I purchased one of these a number of months ago and also got an extra spindle, and I LOVE IT!!!! Makes using round balls and skeins a breeze. Beats having to keep pulling out yarn all of the time. Definitely worth getting.

Mikey, I actually met another KZbin content creator that makes a Bobbin yarn holder. It is absolutely beautiful!. All those Bobbin yarns that we all purchased from Premier, yep, it is the best! Now don’t get me wrong, I’d get this one for my cakes and skeins, but those Bobbin yarns, I’ve got a beauty of a yarn holder!

This tool is great for "cake" yarns. For the regular skeins, and especially the Caron One Pound, I use a regular single spindle paper towel holder (the kind that sits on your kitchen counter). Just push the yarn skein down on the spindle and you can easily draw the yarn from the outside of the skein.
