Hi Madiswan here big fan lol slight correction. I apologized for being vague. Never apologized for the sentiment behind the statement. Israel lobbies our governement to center Holocaust education as well as other soft power structures like museums etc. so they do pay in a way, I just wasn’t specific enough. When I said the “numbers weren’t there” I was referencing that the Holocaust was not the most destructive if we are talking body count and even rate. (Rwanda beats the rate and many other genocides including that of what the Russians did to their own people, the Japanese v. Chinese during the same time period, Congo from colonization into the current time period, and British colonialism in India beat the Holocaust in numbers). My point was simply that we should not center one genocide in education we should discuss genocide as a theme so we can recognize the patterns of it. Because genocides happen every day unfortunately ♥️ 💋

I really enjoyed this episode of the podcast. It was an interesting perspective on giving grace as content creators. I particularly enjoyed the matter of factness at times rather than nuancing to death situations. One thing I will say as an unsolicited observation, that you can talk with a pinch of salt, is that I feel there were a number of times where there were long periods of conversation where the hosts didn't look at the guest and it felt (to me as a viewer) like just a two way conversation between you two hosts, rather than including the guest in your thought process.

its monochronic vs polychronic time! polychronic societies usually go with the flow bc they view time as happening all at the same time vs monochronic societies view time linearly.

I agree with the not stitching point Christian made. But honestly Tori and DJ are looking to pick fights for engagement to make money. He could of did the same video with out the stich. Tori at Tha point would of sad he is sneak dissing her. He was in a lose lose scenario because of Tori and their content loop.

I’ve been to Japan. It can get pretty weird but I did enjoy how most people tend to mind their business and people try not to stare at each other anyway. I really appreciated that after spending a month in Korea where it’s the exact opposite lol
