Ender ajmv maker I was driving my Grain truck on a gravel road 4/5 years ago and saw a Redtail Hawk tangled up in that netting that is wrapped around the big round hay bales. He was freakin out and when I approached him and got ahold of the netting he chilled right out. All he did was grab my wrist with his big ass talons on one foot and kinda held on while I cut the netting off of him! It was one of the coolest things! When he was loose he sat on my wrist for a second then flapped his wings a couple times ,settled down for a minute then flew away! Never tried to bite me or sink them big ole meat hooks into me or nothing!

Now that is one unusual accident. Very well handled by the paraglider pilot. The scream was a nice try at avoidance. The single ended discussion on the ground was hilarious, especially when you were talking to the eagle. Glad you were OK, and secondarily, the eagle. I'm betting he has learned a lesson here and will stay well clear of parafoils from now on! :-) Having the wing and lines be mostly in one piece after a trip down through a tree is, frankly, amazing.
