'Spirit Of The Glen - Journey' is the second album for UCJ from the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Partly recorded on the frontlines of a war zone in Basra, this remarkable collection of songs represents true dedication and spirit. A mobile recording unit was used to capture many of the tracks including 'For The Fallen', an emotive poem spoken over a solo piper, recorded on a runway with the hum of Basra in the distance.

If I had to pick a favorite song I would pick Unchained Melody without thinking about it. There are lots of great versions of it, but I love the refrain versions of it when I want a quiet peaceful moment. It never fails to relax and recenter me.

This song was played at my grandads funeral, he was an RNLI volunteer then retired he supported them as much as he could, loved listening to these, and love all of it, miss you grandad may you rest high with your heart in our hearts and your life will be ro joined for all of us RIP
