It breaks me up whenever somebody has a problem, they run to Sam and Darrin. Larry says he's the brains and says he's perfect, in all things business. In SERENA STOPS THE SHOW, Larry tells Darrin that not even his genuine can get out of the "loss" of the client. 🙂 This also includes all things personal. When Louise and Phyllis have issues, they run to Sam and Darrin, usually Sam. Love it.

I remember when he passed away. My sister and I grew up watching him in almost everything he did. He even had his own series in the late 70s but it was short lived. He became a regular on a game show.

His own sitcom. "The Paul Lynde Show" was an attempt to duplicate "All in the Family". The show started with high ratings but plummeted. Not sure why, the entire season is terrific. One of the stories is even a redo of a failed pilot from around 1962 called "Howie".
