Ahem...back again after 3 years because ATLA inspired me. The live action had it's faults, but I genuinely enjoyed it and Iroh and Zuko were incredibly well done.
Update: I hear you all on the music being a little loud. Unfortunately, I didn't really notice the imbalance until it was on KZbin. It does help if you're wearing headphones. I really appreciate your feedback, and I'll make sure to test the next one before I make it public, which will be coming soon! Thanks for watching!

Zuko and Uncle Iroh were by far the best portrayed in this adaptation. The 41st storyline was also a great addition, it solidifies the crew's loyalty/appreciation to Zuko that was perhaps missing from the original animated series.

@ang5161 Which is Zuko's own way of relating to them and telling his father he wanted a chance of his own given how he felt like he was never given the chance to prove himself over Azula. Man the writing for Zuko in this show was truly phenomenal for all of its other flaws and faults.

They don't even use the g word to describe what happened to the air nomads. Cowards. Q2 'Leaves from the vines' is about a war criminal crying over another war criminal. How's it sad BEFORE Iroh fully defects? But even after Iroh defects, I don't see how it's sadder than Aang's reaction to air nomads. Or maybe the writing was bad because it's a kids' show which doesn't really dwell much on the g word. Idk. That was perhaps the best scene of the series! In the animated series we see the growth of Zuko and how compassionate he is, and how big his heart really is, but this series really did a great job showing the growth of Zuko. The 41st division backstory was a great touch!

The original is about as close to perfection as you can come. This interpretation however is excellent. They changed a lot of stuff, but its nice watching this not knowing what to expect. And i really hope well see season 2 and 3 soon too. My mom also loves it, but she refused to watch the anime.

The moment I saw the first picture of the live adaptation of Iroh, I knew they had cast him perfectly. And I was especially confirmed in this with Lu Ten’s funeral. He doesn’t say much in that scene. But his eyes says everything. The pain, grief, surprise and the feeling of love towards Zuko. He was my favorite character in the original series and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee has made sure he still is my favorite in the live adaptation ❤

This edit actually made me cry. I kinda liked this part about the series. It gives more emotional depth to Zuko's backstory than the original series. Makes me love him even more. And also the twist of how the crew sticked with him during his journey. The original series was only like Uncle Iroh sharing the past experience of Zuko and how his Father burned his face. Some people would have a kind heart but not all especially the fire nation who were cruel and cold to have a heart to still be loyal to Zuko. This backstory makes more sense on how the crew remained loyal to him even tho he was such a angry brat for 3 years. I'm really excited how this series unfolds on the next season. Hope to see what Toph looks like and to see Suki again! Honestly this would probably the best live action adaptation I've seen so far. True to the source material. It's not perfect but it still feels amazing.

It's sad knowing that in both the anime and the show, Iroh lost his only son. Given another chance to have a son through Zuko. Fixing all the mistakes he had with his first son. Being there for Zuko through everything he faced. Saving Zuko from his anger, not wanting to see another son die😢

I don't like that they made Zuko fight back in the Agni Kai, that goes against his whole character and reason for banishment. But, this relationship is portrayed so lovingly, and I love the addition of the 41st crew storyline.
