The whole video was great, but the cherry on top was the wild male turkey in full plumage. When he puffs up his feathers, you can see why Benjamin Franklin suggested this beautiful fella to be our national bird. Absolutely majestic! How lucky for you to capture it on video in it's home. Tree frogs mean it's finally spring, love that sound :) Nice to see the culvert cleared out and functioning properly. This may also mean fewer mosquitoes during summer too, depending on how far down it drains and how much standing water is left. Great to see the duck eggs too! Win-win for everyone! The various authorities and DOT's could learn a lot from your videos post 10, and fit those V shaped intake structures.

And those structures would help even if beavers were not a present problem, as they catch driftwood and grasses (edit: and human trash) before they can either clog mid-pipe or even just pass through and whack the sides doing damage. They also make cleaning debris a breeze, as we have seen.

Yes - They could learn a lot. For example, it takes one man with a rake about 10 minutes to clear out a clogged outlet. Not a crew of 5 Union guys for half a day. One man, 10 minutes.

My anxiety spikes when he casually walks across a road without pointing the camera both ways. I can probably guess that he does check both ways, but it does not feel like he did. It is so natural to unconsciously equate the camera’s FOV with his own actual. Other than that, his videos are very satisfying to watch.

@@larsiversen4466 chevy, ford and dodge have been making a lot of 4 cylinders and diesel v6 motors for a while now. A family friend has 400,000 miles on a Chevy Aveo from the mid 2000s and it runs perfectly still the only issues in all of the bearings can stay in place because the frame has been driven for so long. Alaska miles too. He lives in an area that reaches -40F often.

Around the 5 minute mark I got worried for you. That culvert was pulling so much water! I know you'd never work in an unsafe way, and I know you know your stuff. But I still worry about you sometimes, because I like you and want you to he happy and healthy. Worry aside, I really enjoyed this video. The weather in the UK has been dry for this time of year, we usually have April showers, but barely any rain all month, so my flooding enquiry numbers from the public have dropped to single figure. So I've been focusing on replacing road signs and refreshing road markings. Have fun ;)

I believe malard duck eggs take 3 weeks to hatch and another 5 weeks to fledge, but they will be on the water soon after hatching following mum and dad.
