Note: I forgot to subtract -2 for all Danish/Norwegian roles for their units being garrisons/reduced strength, so the Germans should have had an even easier time.

You've helped me to finally crack into this game. Never thought I would be able to, but the videos have really helped me get kickstarted. Thanks so much!

I believe the German air units start this scenario with two sorties already. In the scenario table it says 2 under the S section.

I like that it has sort of a programmed way of introducing additional rules as you go through the scenarios. My copy should be shipping soon through this reprint cycle. Yay GMT and and thank you Counter Attack for this set of videos!

I think Garrison units are reduced strength units and they get a -2 DRM.

Given the faith of Blücher it's kinda funny that you get +2 for naval support here :)

Hi. Love your playthrus as Im learning USE. One question, you trace the Amphidious Invasion thru straits, but rule 6.3.2.1 says the invasion path cannot cross a strait unless one strait hex contains a friendly unit, city etc. As far as I understand it, the only path should be on the other side of Denmark?
@rondurrans39796 жыл бұрын
I think that you are right. Although Denmark has been conquered Copenhagen is not a friendly city until troops move in. The invasion should go directly through sea zone 12, which it can because of the Kiel canal

Addition: The two straits to the left of Copenhagen could be used if an axis force were in one of the hexes. (I think !!)

Hi. 6 years a bit late 🙋♂️lol but wanted to ask for tips on solo play plz if you have any. How would you play other countries. Thank you
@CounterAttack4 жыл бұрын
A lot of players just play each side to the best of their ability. That's what I do too. I also try to "compartmentalize" my thoughts to ignore any potential secrets, surprises, or plans of the other sides. I'll never trick myself or get an amazing and surprising move on myself, but it still is mentally stimulating.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to reply 👍 I'll take those tips on board and i think I'll play other factions as aggressive too.

will you do more scenario of Unconditional Surrender???
@Periche733 жыл бұрын
I think that scenario doesnt end with the final germans turns, because the norwegian can atack the germans at Oslo and recover the city.

I don't think Danish ZOC extends across the all-sea hexside between 2022 and 2123, so the 18th Army could have just marched to Copenhagen. Defending the straits would have benefited the Danes.

Oslo should be in the hex above. I live in the hex below .

I wondered if it is placed there to make it 3 spaces from Aalborg. Otherwise there would be no way to airdrop into Oslo from Denmark.

you played wrong.. your German unit must end activation once the combat result is nothing.
@evanwong87483 жыл бұрын
The diamonds just mean no combat result. The German unit is still activated and can attack again if it has the MPs. The only time where the activation would stop is if the Germans rolled an AS or AA
